Official 5 Worse Ways To Die Walkthrough
Room 1:
There is no clue. The voice at the start warns you not to guess a door, because if you do - both doors will lead to death. Find the hidden button. It's on the far side of the support collumn.
Room 2:
The Indiana Jones Reference without the missing bit reads "In the words of Dr. Jones from Raiders of The Lost Ark 'Don't touch the light'" Avoid the light beams.
Room 3: Mother of Xen -
A male and a female toilet door. doesn't take a professor to work out that you choose the female one (mother of xen.) Then into the second part of room 3. Using the same clue - Mother of Xen. The answer, obvious to anyone who has completed HL is Gonarch. Step on the tiles in order to get to the other side.
Room 4 - Without them you wouldn't be in this mess.
The answer is of course 'Valve' the creators of Half-Life. Turn the valve to reveal the second clue. "Seek your reflection." Look in the puddle. Something isn't right. One of the reflections doesn't match. Get a mirror to read the sign. It says "Decypher this! The door that you must travel through is not on the left" therefor you choose the right door.
Room 5 - A Leap of Faith. Only those who truly believe in Seventh Monkey will cross alive. Simple - leap into Seventh's avatar and he will secure your safety.
End - I don't lose! >_<
Activate sv_cheats 1 and god mode then type impulse 101 a few times if you want to survive

This has some REALLY cool effects.. Really, really well made effects. Very FEAR-esque. But the aim of the compo was to have a post-disaster version of the base map, and lack of noticable destructification really ruins it for me...
I wont rate because i'm not sure what i thought... Effects were awsome...
But it was just like you'd made effects and stuck them in Kasperg's map.

i think out of all the entries i have played, this one has the 'cool factor.' But it wasn't great..
The lack of crowbar, HEV suit and flashlight was REALLY annoying. And i'm not sure i approve of using other people's models and textures in a compo map.. Not to such an extent, anyway.
Still, nicely done, but needed more things that go BOOM
you could have antlions in the labyrinth with you. and combine.. and every other bad guy for that matter
Do you like Funeral For A Friend?
a map vault moderator will be informed of this unfair rating.
I'll download it and give it a spin tonight
"Helpful hints:
1) Have a reflective surface near you. (a CD case or a mirror will do fine)"
Things show up backwords in a mirror
Glad you liked it
come on! At least light it!
(why did you allow uploads)

I thought people were beyond such comments.
I actually planned to have a whole escape sequence after "Barniss" dies, but ran out of time due to my leak.
