Well thank you. The truth is that I made my prototype about a year ago before I even knew about this task and it's funny how it fits in with the thesis.
Almost too perfect, as if I know how to make a good horror game ^_^
Some of the tests are stuff like delayed sounds at different intervals, a choice of direction so one corridor with sound, the other without, silence areas for allowing the player to reflect on what has happened according to Donald Norman's theory on visceral responses.
I also intend to make the player recognise a sound by using it to scare them and then when they hear it again I'll note down how they react to hearing it again as they know it means bad.
Should be interesting though, I got a sports watch to monitor their heart rate but it requires a chest strap which was NOT in the picture when I bought it >_>

Cause a marketing agency spotted my blog and they liked what they saw so they invited me to EA's Battlefield event and then they liked me there so they invited me to this.

Built a level without knowing how to do anything, made what looked like a warehouse and put in prefab brushes like the step ladder and then when trying to figure out how to play it, rage quit.
Then summer came and tried again which worked with a test box level, following a guide.
So I like my warehouse and continue on it only to accidently apply the green slime texture to everything. Not sure how to fix, I had fucked it up and deleted it.

edit Actually maybe that is Portal, you used impulse 101 and you realise Valve didn't give the player a HUD. You have to give the weapon in Hammer.
Heh. Mate, that's not Portal. You've somehow copied Half Life 2 into Portal as you shouldn't have HL2 weapons.
Back when Portal came out people wondered what Half Life would be like with the Portal gun and so people found out you can copy the content into Portal which gave the same results you have aka the glowing sprite which is actually used on the top of the weapon to show what colour portal you last fired.
Go to SDK, choose Orange Box engine and select Portal. Make sure you load Portal first before doing this.

You too huh? I went back to poor old Oblivion for the uhhh 32th or 35th time, I lost count ages ago. Downloaded a good armour called Snowflower. Rather nice looking. Playing Shivering Isles as it's more fun than Oblivion and looks different for a change.

That's funny, that's exactly what my DVD looks like I'm not kidding, it was a dodgy DVD and I stopped watching once I saw the wires and untextured helicopters.
Anyway heh that brings back memories of my experience in that last level. I remember a piano and getting pissed off because I couldn't save. I never did like the level up system etc. I didn't even know you could steal summons but that was silly young me who was overwhelmed with information.
What went through my mind as a kid was, "What? These kids go to school to learn how to fight in wars? WTF!"

The level designers really had me at awe when I went inside the cathedral in Venice.
The story really works and it feels like GTA 4 now so you don't feel like you're repeating stuff.
Sadly it's a little laggy although my TV always seems to make my PS3 cry.
And post some pics of this gmod map.
If you model then it'd make it look so much better.
And just make something of yourself and you won't be forgotten.
Basically I'm their marketing monkey ;O
But then they go releasing 7 which kinda annoys me D:
(Yes L4D 2 has story but it doesn't interest me.)
I only gave away Battlefield to that stranger because it was for PS3 and it was the kids birthday. He probably thought I was a modern day Santa.
"Now come to my house kid."

That was my experience.
And that's why I be not getting L4D 2 ;D
Yeah same except I like both but I love KOTOR 2 for the character relationships, especially Kreia.
