Sajo seems to have a thing for immensely difficult deathfests. Personally, I hate immensely difficult deathfests. As a mapper, I can think of few who are better. 1214 is worth a look and definatly one hell of a challange.
Overall, I wish people would release multiplayer flat-life maps of this quality, because then they'd at least be fun.As it stands, I'd have more fun cutting off my own finger.

I'm but amazed how for once, an aim map with dev textures has spawned a coherent discussion. D: As for the map - playtested it with Hunteh, so for my review: What he said, plus don't overlook ambience next time. Soundscapes have loads of awesome potential you can utilize in your Source maps.

I'll be seeing it, though I am not expecting anything.. well, good. The Valkyries are hallucinations from the drug, and they're being given far too much screentime.
I've read the script for this, it's mild at best. As always they just want to show of flashy special effects rather than stick to strong storytelling.

I must say, this is one heck of a map you got here, I can tell to put a lot of effort in to it. The level design is on par on what you can find in a professionally done, commercial video game, bravo!
Oh by the way, I have been getting some very good comments by visitors to the VRML version of your Revenant map on my website. In fact, just yesterday, I was with 7 other people inside Revenant chatting away for about 2 hours. They were all impressed by your handy work on Revenant. Anyway, good job on the Temple map and keep up the good work.
