haha no I just purchased a ocz revo 50Gb, read speeds 530/mbs and write are 450/mbs
So when ever I say this to someone not knowledgable I want to say that a general hard drive is only about 40-50mbyte/sec etc, so that they understand how fast it actually is.
Pulled this from another forum;

then make 4 cubes, cut them from corner to corner to make a triangle, then put them in the hole for a
stop sign type a shape... thats a very basic hole

I have a question..
Since I don't have a whole lot of concept work, can I get some from google, then model it, texture it, then I would include the persons name who originated the concept work?
Is that ok!?

Looking for a game application that you can start up, then you'll have acess to all the games you have installed.. so kinda like steam
but Just wondering of a game launcher that will come up, then depending on game you select, the game artwork (that you create) will pop up, then it would say "play game?".. then you'd click that and then that game would start to run..
Basically why this would be great is because I got some roomates and when their playing a game they can just open the game laucher, then browse through the games on my system..
argh hard to explain..

yep I had the 920 in my shopping cart, was going to get it Tuesday, but when I went to check the cart today it said this is no longer available..

Well, thinking about the i930 the 920 and 930 are almost exactly alike but 930 is a tad faster, and can be overclocked alot more than the 920;

the i7-930, using exactly the same voltages from 2.66GHz to 4.3GHz
Btw the two are exactly the same price

Well the i5 750 is only dual channel, and I got triple channel
and ya the 965e is $1200, to $1300, while the 920 is an little over $300 So I'm just looking for reasonable speed.

change the solid one to a function_wall_toggle, now create two brushes and make them triggers.. put one before the block, and on after, then just have them trigger the box on and off..
or if you want it to trigger from all directions, then make a trigger to toggle it off (very small in the center) and another around the center to topple it on..

Yeah well, since a 64bit os is only 20gigs I think I'll just get a 32gig ssd,

Do the box method, works like a charm for me!
1. First make a box the size of half your level
2. Try compiling it
3. If it compiles then the leak is somewhere within the box, if not then the leak is on the 'non-covered box side'
4. Cut the box in half,
5. Recompile
Keep scaling the box down by halfs until you find it.

Doing this for unity3D;
Planing on adding some fog/dust, (like I did in spirit of half-life,
the one that I made a smoke sprite, then had it scaled up, had had 3 of them slowly move, you could hardly see them)
In unity I got the scene set up with two pulsing lights (blue and red)
only thing is, the lights pulse at the same time, I don't know how to delay one light, they automatically start!

So here's my issue
In the following image I baked a light onto this texture;

So now in my scene there are no lights;
(the light in the pic to show this is'nt a rendered shot)
Now all I want is to bake the rendered bump map shown below, onto the texture I created to avoid the use of 2 maps (the texture, then the bumb)
Can it be done?

And Stu, I don't find it that shiny, you just have to think, looks like an office type place where in the past yes they had very shiny floors, but now with all the dust collecting, maybe turn down the reflection just a bit.
