Cool cant wait, I love detailed Source maps.
I will imagine it will be more demanding than the average map.
Define 'average'... because there arent many of them on TWHL ive forgotten what they look like!!

P.S. Like the dirt

Unless someone here lives close enough to you...

This isnt really the best site to get a copy of mario party off.

I suggest your local video store or even eBay

I think gravity and airspeed stays the same and its how you place the brush with specific entities?

Im not too sure I figured that just from looking at surf maps in CS.

I definitely would love an extension aswell to actually finish all the detail etc but its alright because I cant wait for the pressure to be off and be able to map when the feeling comes at different intervals (which doesnt come often) instead of keeping at it to get it in.

By the way you are talking it seems you still need to convert the MP3. to WAV.

Click Here to Google for a program to do that.

in WorldCraft/Hammer - not all triggers Post #164201
Well if nothing else helps then you can always copy the trigger_once or trigger_multiple into one of your newer maps to get all the entities...

Not a very professional solution but hey, it might have to come to that!

I second that Ant!

Revolution ftw, mainly because the internet play is free...

Also most of the people that were with Rare back in the SNES/N64 days have now moved to Free Radical... You can easily see that in the design of games such as Time Splitters 2 (It looks strangely like Goldeneye and the first Perfect Dark).

EDIT: Revolution is gonna be the cheapest aswell (around $200 AUS I think?)

in what laptop do I get for mapping? Post #157705
Well I would personally never buy Dell, ive heard bad things about them, but that laptop looks alright... Im just a bit worried about the 16MB AGP that it has, thats double my laptop (Which I got for free btw) but you might not get very good graphics without lag and it might not render certain things (I have some problems with water in OpenGL mode) but if all you are worried about is making and compiling then maybe if complications arise you can always test/play your map on another computer?

For that price is good aswell, as long as it stays that price

Id say go for it because itll run half-life (if thats all you are really worried about lol)

EDIT: I heard of Roxby Downs somewhere lately... cant remember though...

Dont think that is possible...

Your best bet is to use different triggers that are directed at knife spawning entities...

in what laptop do I get for mapping? Post #157674
My laptop specs are:

846 MHz Pentium 3
256 MB RAM
OnBoard Graphics AGP (8MB Graphics) (ARGH!)

It runs HL on the lowest settings well and It goes alright for mapping except the compile times can soar through the roof!
