Try aiscripted_sequence instead of the scripted_sequence, or try making any invisible alien on the spot he has to look at.
e.g:
monster_zombie/headcrab, or any monster entity with these properties:

render mode: Solid/texture
FX amount: 0
Prisoner Flag: checked

The grunt should keep looking at the zombie, which is invisible for the player for all the time, I think.. You could also add the invisible wall, as killer said. That way, he'll look at the zombie and never notice the player.

Well all I can suggest is:

Cpu should be 3.5Ghz+
Ram should be 1gb+
Graphics - 256mb or 128 if you really can't afford a 256 one.
Sound card - not very necesary unless you're working with music, sounds, etc.

I'm not a pro at computer technology, but I'm gonna buy a new one soon and that's my min. requirement plan.
And it's really way cheaper to buy a computer in parts and then assemble it. It might take you one evening if you're not experienced, but you will save some cash.

Well the 1st time I played HL, the crowbar looked soooo original... I mean - the other melee wpns were mostly carp in other games and used by the player only in the beginning, until you get a normal wpn or not used at all. While the crowbar in HL was used by the player through 1/2 or even thru the whole game, trying to save those last mags of the 9mm or the shotgun. Now ppl, who play HLSP for the 2nd, 3rd time, use the crowbar more often, just to show the headcrabs, zombies, slaves and hgrunts, who's 73h m@s73r. I mean it's still fun to run around a slow-moving zombie in circles and bash him with the crowbar once in a while and then watch him trying to hit you desperately.. :D
However, in MP - you can easily overcome the crowbar, as long as you look, where you're going (and as long as the opponent doen't have the long-jump module ;) ). It's extremely powerful, combined with the long-jump and the gauss gun.. (Take Muzz as an example) :)
In HL2 - most ppl use the crowbar only until they get the grav gun. Although I still use the crowbar to bash the crates all the time. I just drag em over closer to me with the grav gun and bash em with a crowbar then.
The crowbar now is more like a trademark of HL. If it's removed or replaced - HL won't be HL anymore.. :confused:

Heh.. I just got an awesome idea for my entry! Damn - this time I'll start the entry on time... Destiny was so buggy, just because I was in a big hurry to finish it.. :)
Stuff I can do best:

- Level design (No blocky rooms/brushes)
  • Detail
- Texturing
- Entity work
  • Third party area's (not required, but it adds in the overall gameplay)

Doom is better with it's graphics, but it's storyline sucks so much.
Hakf-Life has a deep and interesting story, which makes it nice to play, while in doom - you just run around in some abbandoned spaceship and kill all kinds of super mutated freaks and monsters.
I played doom3 for ~3-4 days and got bored of it. :confused:

No ideas.. The stair tower looks really ugly, tho.
The map looks much better now, although there should be more light inside the building. That door of the tunnel looks kinda ugleh and streched. You should use a texture more like a door.
The building reminds me of the barracks from Delta Force.
You should add some more buildings, perhaps a smaller building, connected to the big building. And maybe an underground passage to make the gameplay and layout more interesting.. :)
Add something to cover behind in the field.. Some boulders or bushes or trees... Just don't make it all so clear.
The sky fits almost perfectly, btw. :o

So this mod is on hold... We should recruit more ppl, I think.. We gotta work out the idea ourselves, if slasher and pepper don't post theirs. Or else this mod will be an addition to all of those mods who were abandoned finished at the very start.. :nervous:
