i don't have a way to test it so tell me one thing: when make a func_tank or any other gun do i have a frag when killing someone with that? I just want to know, becouse on crossfire there are no frags for killing with big cannons. If so, how i can make "fragging" guns?

I want to hide some part of my map, making it not visible to players. I want to hide bottom of the map so that players can't see whats down there when walking a bridge. How i can make that? i've already have everything, and don't want my map to "slow down"

yah, a strange things happen there. I've sended a post and those idiots deleted my post (heh) i think they treat programs like those like "hack". anyway i've posted that question not only here and i'm waiting. when i have an answer i'm going to post it here so don't worry ;) just thought that someone here could know that (why not?)

always you die? and from the beggining? maybe sombody turned sv_gravity too high (on some maps sv_gravity set to 999999999 can kill some players after round restart) It can be also a modifed map(wrong ents.). Or, if you have died in play-time you could just kill yourself by falling from high above. (that's why sv_gravity 9999999999 is so killerous :D you can get kill even when walking down the stairs, like in real life) If your problem is diffrent you should: 1.replace that map 2.if that not help reinstal cs (or update if you have an old version) 3.play other maps

my favorite cs maps are maps made by me ;) From other maps i like de_dust, fy_pool and aim_map. The worst map that i've seen is awp_map (i'm not hammer/worldcraft master but i could do 100% better map)

i've installed si some time ago but there was no servers that i could play, so i've simply copied mod's folder from standard hl into steam hl. And it appears like i've run hl in menu but there are si servers and everything. BUT i cannot join any game or create my own, it reads "parsing server info" all the time and nothing is doing. i've tried to run hl server, everything is ok. Pls tell me how to instal that damn thingy on steam

hey anyone know where to download magic thing for eMule that stands in line for me when i'm disconnected or just loosed connection for few secs, so that i can download faster (usually i stay in que all day and nothing, than disconnect and again the same). I've tried other more related forums and google but found nothing. (only the page that there is a program like that and that it's easy to make one :x ) thx for anyone that's going to reply to this :D

but if you want completly unbreakable windows use func_wall not func_breakable (ofcourse you can set high health so that'll be pointles to break it with anything other than heavy firearms)

no i don't think that can help. zombie always land below that stake. and i wanted him to be around turned around, on back, moving hands and legs. You wanted to tell that i should make an empty space in my stake right? make up and bottom parts of it? damn it could be too small for zomibe to stay at that. And if i blast zombie the gap could be seen. not good...

Hey, i was making fun in hammer with zombie. i just looked all animations and got an idea. I wanted to put zombie in funny animation, but put it on a big brush pile. But, ofcourse the zombie landed half under ground :| Is there a way to allow it to stay where it is?

but i have no generation pack, i have normal game-of-the-year cd-key. well it used to be. steam client recognized it as a generation pack cd-key. don't know, but anyway no problem for me :D

yeah, i have steam and i've always wanted to know why it recognized my cd-key as "hl generation pack" becouse i have plat. version (hl+cs). I just wanted to know is it a gift from valve that i can use steams Op4, or is that a bug? I'll be more funny if it's a bug :D Anyway if Op4's free that's a little stupid, becouse it's worth something. (damn, why condition zero is not free, eh :D )

there was time that my steam stopped working for me also. I reinstalled it, and still nothing (belive me i've tried ;) . Some time later i've unistalled it, and later i wanted it agin, so i downloaded it form net installed and i was working. Still not sure why. I know one thing. You need to be very carefull with steam or you can screw it in no time.

OOoooh! big thx, but can i do 3 linked conv. belts, put a sciencist on first and make it to land in place at end of 3rd belt? just want to know is he going to stop on end of first belt or not. And if scroll direction depends on the texture orientation, than how in original hl map, when you pressed the button, moving direction has been changed? i thought that in-play textures cannot be changed by entites, am i wrong? :nuts:

well, i've seen something similiar to Dread_furst idea in Chemical Existance but i'm not quite sure how was that done, but there was a moving platform that rotates while you rotate the gun. Worth a try

hey all! I wanted to add something to my map. I wanted to add moving "conveyor belt" (well i don't know that word but it is, like it's said in dictionary: "conveyor belt an endless, moving belt carrying articles from one place to another in a factory etc: She put nuts on the chocolates as they went down the conveyor belt." <= thats what i want, heh) like in hl (it was "questionable ethics" i think). so... how to do this :D ??? Is it just a "moving" texture and one way entity or something else? pls tell me, i have a funny idea for a map ^^

ieatmonkeychow thats an idea! but i don't think is this actualy possible. It already sounds "laggy". BIG visible trains as sky? maybe i'll experiment with that later, but i'm not sure about it... And about Spirit of Half-life, i have it but how could i use it to make moving sky?

Hey all.
I want to reinstal steam, or better move it from drive c: to drive d:. The problem is that i don't want to waste all day to download hl, op4, cs and all. So, any1 know how i can do it? just copy some folders (propably "[email]/" folder right?) to newer instalation on drive d: i think. Plz tell me is that a good way. And no jokes from me :D i just want to be sure.

Yup, that's right.
that mean "That key from the registry is the same cd-key used by half-life"? I just wanted to reinstal Steam from c: to d: drive (becouse i have 43 mb left on c: and 6,92 gb on d:)

Hey, i've found a key in half-life registry ( in HKEY_CURRENT_USER/Software/Vavle/Half-Life/Settings/Key) i just want to know is that a true cd-key, so please check that cd-key with the ones you got in the box. I can only say that it's 13 numbers, don't remeber is that correct answer. PLZ HELP ME AND REPLY becouse after first format c:/d: i'm never going to run half life and make any maps/mods :( Good that i'm not going to format my hard drives soon...

uuuu, i have a bad problem... I lost that piece of paper that you can call hl cd-key(no, not pirate, black 2 sides piece of paper, with small cd-key at the bottom :D) I have installed Steam(is working),Original HL(working) and retail ver. of Counter-Strike(also working). Can i retrive my cd-key any way? Or maybe i can e-mail someone(don't know where). Hmmm i paid money for that game and i don't want to buy it again... PLZ help(p.s.- why cd-key is not written ON cd?!?!)

Seventh is right. i remember that i set virt. memory for 10000 min and max once and i wasn't a good idea :) good that windows returned previus settings :zonked:any way 800-800 or 1000-1000 works good for me (better than 300-800)

The best is machine gun! The first 3 bullets are super accurate! :Dand never have to reload! Best pistol is five-seven, the most accurate (and v. fast) pistol in cs (good for h.shots) , but only good at long range.

hmmm... is there any mod where you are not G. Freeman but G-man? experimental gov. weapons? Special armor/shield for being bulletproof :D that would be great idea for a mod. I vote for g-man! he's not evil, but not good also i think. He want to test Gordon/Shepard, he want to see them fight, but not to die. G-man want to take rule of the world! of Xen world :D
