Well - the hot glow is about all you can change without coding.

But if you do know how to compile DLLs (not that hard...) you can change a lot in HL with Zero coding ability. But get the SDK. Its helpful.

Actually, We could make the community decide - on the Star rating, you could have a check box for "Recomend for Best Of Vault" or something phrased better.

Then the mods just move the maps that have a high enough "score"

And while we are at it, a CS and HL? mod vaults would help also - there's no rush in putting everything we have now in the right place, just encourage the news maps to be sorted properly.

The only thing you need to do, to rid Africa of war and poverty, is stop giving them Weapons, (directly and indirectly through Israel and Albania, etc..)

And stop giving them ALL aid. That's right Give them NOTHING > NO Loans, no "humaniterian" cash payments, nuthing. Null. Not even Food.

Give it 2 to 3 years, watch your prices soar because the big companies can't get cheap raw materials, and soon enough, you have a new super power with nearly all of the diamonds, and oil.

A corrupt govornment can't last very long if their ammo runs out, and the people simply start doing work instead of trying to geta cut of the "Aid"

Simple - but not gonna happen.

You only get that error when something is gone wrong with the exe, not the maps, so yes - a fresh install could help.

Just open up Notepad, Make sure skill.cfg is not read-only, edit a load of values, and save :P

It works for me. But make sure you just change values - don't mess with it too much.

There is a simple way to do this:

"Global Entity Name" has to be the same in both maps, then brush entities are taken along with you and any monsters.

Yea.. Pentium II person here. :P

But for me, it seems fast enough - it only lags a bit in CS when there's a lot of people on screen. But for HL mods its fine.
