They are models in Half-Life 2.

Create a prop_physics

click world model

then click browse

then select the model you want.

It is really simple, all you have to do is put in an 'ai_relationship' entitie and have the object being the turrets and the target being '!player'. You must have the ! before player or it wont work. It should also work with any other person, striders, combine, ect.

The target can be a npc class name, such as npc_combine_s, npc_antlion, ect. Or it can be a npc's name.

The NPC's don't accually use the scanners, it just looks like they do. Really, if the door starts locked then it needs to be triggered in order to open.

No, they are not dumb meaning they are not smart, they are dumb meaning for some reason they don't like stairs unless I push them onto the stairs and they still don't go down them very far. They still shoot me, and move normally, they just don't go out of the room I put them in and they don't look side to side or up and down (meaning they only look in one direction).

Could not find anything on google on this.

When I make a make with plenty of spawn points for each team. The map runs fine for me, but when I play with bots the all look in the same direction and move from side to side only stopping when the enemy sees me and kills me and then goes back to being weird. How do I fix this?

I think there should be a new section in the forums for mappers, like me, who can't make a map any better then a cardboard box. And in the section people would be able to post challanges for better mappers to make. It is not meant for lazy mappers, but for the "un-creative" and "not-so-good" mappers who would need a reference map. The completed maps could be placed into all but problem maps category.

I don't know what you think about this... please comment on the idea.

I did, but to clear out old mods not for the prefabs. I did it again to try and fix the prefabs, but it wont work anyway.

We have 4 options:
1) Have the winner of the last compo decide.

2) Have a vote after every compo.

3) Have 2 different categores: HL1 and HL2.

4) Or just change it to HL2 since eventually every one would rather buy HL2 or be force to play it anyway.

There could still be HL1 sutff on this site any way, but it would be nice to have an updated compotition.

I think that for some reason the shout box just wonk work for me, because I have tried using different computers but the shout box still wont work.

Could someone please make a make that has the antlion holes and the antlions made so they come out of the hole, just like in single player. and make a link to the source for the .vmf. I can't download so it must be the source. In other words I need to copy and paste the source to my own text file so I can look at the map. If you can make it, please use the same textures as the single player antlion holes.

One last thing -- Can you make a second hole that is covered and must be brocken in order for antlions came out. If this is too confusing, then please just follow what I said in the first paragraph.
