in Play CD track multiple times? Post #330815
I figure you could fake it by having a number of target_cdaudio or trigger_cdaudio and a changetarget that cycles the button through a large number of them. I mean, what player is going to press a button over and over so many times as to run out, right?

That, or you could find a different way to put the track in the map.

To tell you the truth, those hallways are too bare. If they're supposed to be maintenance tunnels, throw some maintainable stuff down there. Right now it's as if there was nothing to do there. I second Urby's advice.

Scientists can be scripted to decide to press a button if they happen to be near it, but I never saw it done with soldiers.

You mean render mode SOLID, FX 255.

Texture/255 would make it look exactly the way it looks in the screenshot, and with a lower number it would be transparent but the blue would still be rendered.

Curiously, I only remember seeing sprites rendered as Additive. I never thought of this.

Yeah... basically. But there's the risk of it rendering like crap.

Fantastic! I'll have a look at it.

And Striker, this was a 15-second exposure at 18mm/3.5. The bright thing is the moon overexposed (exposing for the moon everything else was completely lost to underexposure), Mars should be the reddish pixel at about 11 o'clock. See the linked page for a diagram. It's rotated though.

Well into the night I looked up and noticed some reddish bright spot near the moon. It turned out to be Mars.

I went outside and attempted to take a photo. For once, however, I happened to remember to try RAW.

As shot:

After tinkering with it a bit:

Still no Milky Way visible, either because I didn't tinker with the exposure enough or most likely due to the light pollution cities are known for.

In job hunting, it's almost always who you know, rather than what you know.
Almost!

I never got sprites right for foliage. They always face the player. I always ended up using func_illusionaries.

1. You need a func_tank
2. Check for off-grid geometry. If that doesn't work, try moving that vertex 1 unit away and then back.
3. I don't know. But the next poster knows:

It's not the editor, it's the engine that was never coded for it. So even if the editor had the feature, it would do bugger all in game.

And that attitude won't get you anything.

in Any way to have moving laser pointers? Post #330194
Perhaps you could make a realllllly long, semi transparent, 1-unit wide red beam tied to a func_tank and hope it's long enough for it to hit every surface in sight. This of course is a problem in that it will go through near walls anyway.

I too haven't had much time for gaming lately. Also I got KSP as a gift on Steam so what little time I had I spent playing that.

Maybe Atom is right and you could try a modded game, but like I said in another post above, heavily modded packs are too much for my computer to handle, so if you guys pick one of those you won't see me around.

I have enough on my plate for now, though, now that a friend sent me Kerbal Space Program as a belated birthday gift on Steam. This will be bad for my education :P

And so I remain marketless because I still haven't spent money myself on Steam in quite a while :P

I never tried that way! We need a place to store the Egg afterwards.

There's a slime chunk in Stronghold #2, in one of the caverns across the ravine but at this point I'm not sure how to get there.
