It's beacuse you must have a delay between sv_cheats and impulse... Sv_cheats must be activated before impulse 101 can be activated.. so make a 0.10 sec delay on the bind key and i think it will solve it ^^.

Sorry :D

I'v made a spear that sits in the wall. (like a sharple)
And i made a npc_ragdoll (combine for now)
But when map spawn's he just fall of.

But when i played a sdk_example map i found the constraint thing.
It feels that i can use it to freeze a combine part near the spear. So the other parts can move ex: Legs can move, Arms can move, Head can move, Chest is freezed. :glad:

Its time for TWHL to make a PRO mod. Take the best coders/mappers/modelers/skinners etc.... (from the forum)

We will work on it and make it big and goodlooking! Maybe even earn money to the forum! :nuts:

Copy this exactly...And these files have to be in the materials section if you didn't know. Sometimes a simple spelling mistake can be fixed.
Do you mean i need to put my files more than the 2 ZeG folders??

I checked if it was a spelling mistake.. it wasent. and i got exactly the same folder on both places..

Anyway.. maybe im just a noob or its a thing i'v made wrong on...

1st thing i did... Used a converter from VMF to TGA. Changed my things in TGA with photoshop and saved it as TGA.

2nd i placed the TGA in my ZeG map and made a copy and putted them in hl2materialsZeG and sourcesdk_content.. etc

3d used VTEX and it was successful.

4th wrote the .txt document and made it to a VMT file. made a copy and placed it in the other folder.

5th copied the VTF file to both....

End of story

Well did i forgot something???????

okay. i'v got the 3 files now. in my map: ZeG

combine_zeg.tga
combine_zeg.vmt
combine_zeg.vtm

in both hl2 apps and sourcesdk_content.

but when i type this in my model(in hammer): zegcombine_zeg

Its just showing the great ugly sign of "Error" :nuts:

Hmm.. wich files do i need to compile the model in HL2? I got the combine_zeg and putted it in: modelscombineskin_zegcombine_zeg

i typed this in hammer on model:

modelscombineskin_zegcombine_zeg.mdl

but it ends up as an "Error"

The time has come.. To say goodbye to mapping. A map for me = Problem. I cant make a map with atleast 5 problems every hour!
I have lost the spark now.. I'v never comleted a map. All these problems stop me.

Yesterday i mapped on my Single-Player map... My next room was finished.. The map couldnt start.. So i deleted the room and thought it was okay.. But no no.. I cant start the map.. And it was 120 hours of work.. Scrapped on 10 min.. And i tested, and remade evrything i made that time for mapping.. But no sulution.. The problems has locked me in..

Time for me to give up.

When i compile a HL2 map my weapons glows white, not full white but like it was brightness 2000 on them. But the lights around me are just giving Brightness 200 :nuke:

But the thing is when i starting to map and have many ideas how it would be and how to do.. But after a while of mapping it comes some sort of problem. Example: Mapped soon a week and just started to putting out lights.

I compile. When i enter my lights dont make some light on some texture. If i set i light in a corner and the ceiling is light. But the wall is just black. But if i move around a bit then it starts lit the wall. :nervous:

Then i looking around for problem. Cannot solve. BTW my entry for source competition now is :nuke: scrapped :nuke: .

I have never finished a map and i'v soon mapped 5 years. :cry:
