Ok all i did was replace the weapons .mdls but when they load they still have the same attributes

(example)

I got a sniper rifle in with I renamed--

sniper.mdl
to
crossbow.mdl

But It Stll shoots the crossbows-

Do I need to edit the fgd file??

No you just don't have a bsp--- Try copying and pasting into a new map and compile it-(with "Do not run Game" NOT checked")Then Save it as a knew name.. If that doesn't work well I don't know what to tell ya--- Anybhody else have ideas??

I think you should use a func_train and a path_corner--- It makes it so much easier--(as long as you remember to change the angle on each path_corner to ensure its direction travelling)

Try double clicking in the middle(X marks the spot)
And keep your mouse steady while clicking- Thats the only thing I can think of...

Oh try opening a new map and make a brush and try it there(in the new map), can you rotate it? If so you may need to change the name of the other map you are having troubles with..

Let me know of it works.

Well I think everybodies would have to be that-theres no other good tools other then the camera--(Excluding"object, Entities, Tex. Application"

What do you mean---If you made new models-(skins colour???)then place them in..

C:/SEIRRA/Half-Life/valve/models/

And name them the same as the model you are replacing --

example:

If you recreated barney.mdl
and called it mybarney.mdl
then place it in the models folder
and rename it to barney.mdl

mybarney.mdl ~to~ barney.mdl

ok.

Try to create the button like the one in the railroad level(place??)
tie it to a function rotating and set its properties to open the door,,
ahhhh I'm all confused-- well it can be done though-- here you look and try it yourself-- It makes a pretty cool button--->

I don't really like the xeno.wad or spraypaint--
I just use the basics-- and custom wad files-
Its all you really need

Yep I know I've got Jeds.. Ok New problem- When I have 3 different sequences for 3 different people- They seem to get mixed up--
Like this
Name:    Grunt_1
Action Animation:  Converse2
Name:   Grunt_2
Action Animation:  crouching_idle
Name:   Grunt_3
Action Animation:  Defusing
Name:  Grunt_4
Action Animation:  corner1
now, when I load my map it appears that grunt_2 is doing grunt_1's sequeance(and viseversa)--these are the only two I have trouble with,
I repeatedly went over the properties- andeverything is correct-- So can Anybody help me with this???

How do I make a good working Sequence? I've got the HLMV and I know whats available- but I have a hard time with them- example: I try making the security guard Sit at a desk- but it won't work. And My grunt-- I got him Defusing a bomb(appears to be activating the timer)
But when he get up I want him to do a "180R" sequence and then "run"
but the lat two will not work-- I tried a number of thing like using trigger_relays and tried scripted_sentence and the tutoriol does'nt help much--(maybe i hould go over it again) anyway I NEED HELP.

Well then make it into a Func_door, and make two doors one glass, and the next metal- give them the same name, and wala, when triggered they will both move as long as there properties are the same(exept for the render properties of course) read the tuturial on doors with glass--

No just Select everything including the glass then tie it to a func_train and Fix the Render properties-- it works.

What kind of sprite are you guys talking about? I know mine really would suck for torches or candels, it really doesn't look like a flame- Just alot of little spectrums of red, yellow. its not the greatest so if theres another way let me know.
