model a new bullet? why, for the shell casing? seems to me you could just use the one HL uses normally for the AR

Make a 1337 reload animation.. Y'know.. Something that would be nice to look at over and over.. :)

two weeks? eh, could you just give us something that is uber crap to use in the meantime, for beta testing. and by uber crap i mean a generic block with a 10 second UV job and animation in name only. just something that whatever code MuzzleFlash has to right will accept it.

Uum, as far as i am aware i will just edit a default's weapon animation and damage settings.

I'l see what i can do when i feel a bit better..

hmm, so muzzleflash should just write the code as if it were for the AR?

Muzzle, you think you can copy, paste, and edit it to be semi-auto(look at the pistols code hint hint), with a 20rd clip in the next few days?

like the pistols primary fire. one click, one bullet. im sure there are some tutorials on codeing sites about copying a weapon.

ya the pistol's code really is just sloooooooooooow full auto, but it does the right thing and saves the player from having to pound his mouse.

hmm.. one of my firends (PaulRPG) doesn't have retail HL... he solely uses steam.. how hard would it be to make the mod with a Steam version as well?

as you would any other weapon. the names of the animations should probably be the same as the AR.

and Muzzle, I just tested my maps with your code for the first time.

and I was Like OMFG when I came to a certain part in my map. I have 10 grunts bunkered down in an H shaped hallway, lights all off, some industrial servers used as baricades and choke points. slaves teleporting in. and as I watched the hallway light up from the dynamic lighting of the grunts guns and the aliens zaps I just stoped and watched for a second. It was awsome

If you're unsure if you have the latest build, load up a map with barney and make him shoot. He should reload his gun after he's fire 17 shots. If he does, you have the latest. If not:

Well, Saco got banned. Which really sucks when we're this close to the deadline... but hey...

We have no way to contact him as he no longer uses MSN, so i decided that the best play would be to simply ask somebody else to fill in the spot for the cursed Chapter 4.
