wish i could agreee with you tito, but transformers 2 was easily the most pointlessly-bad movie i've seen at the theater all summer, probably all year. (i left halfway through)
I could right a whole, long rant about why it was so bad, but that wouldn't change the fact that this movie was still made, and people are still wasting their money to watch it. So i'll try and keep it short:
i was wholly disappointed how this transformers bears almost zero continuity to the original tv show--not like the first one really did either--, and what they do manage is done horribly. None of the original concepts or plot devices that made the original series interesting and fun are utilized, for a second time. To me, the movie comes off as a commercial for GMs shitty, styleless cars; an orgy of pointless, haphazard cgi, where the robots all look shittily the same; and some really bad, stupid comic relief thrown in: the robot with the gold tooth that talks like jar jar binks and says he "he doesn't read much" ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME?! IT'S JAR JAR BINKS FOR THE TRANSFORMERS! GTFO!
oh and one last thing: whoever wrote the movie should go out to the gun store, buy a gun, and shoot themselves in the face.
I have not played this game, but from smidges seen in the motm reviews, it looks absolutely gorgeous imo. 5-stars easy for a very well-built, great-looking flat-life level!
(thought it very cool too how you replaced the player model with a grunt)

Wow! this looks like a rimrook map to me (that's a big compliment in case you were wondering). I always love your layouts and how clean/smooth/rounded your brushwork is... it's always so pretty.. = )
++lighting looks nice and contrasty, just how i like maps. ++effects (transitions through those little doorways are soooo cool.) +/-texturing is fine, but repeatative having the same one on all the toweres. Plus those neat jutting trims you have should be textured differently imo to make them stand out--you can't appreciate nice brushwork if it blends in and you can't see it!) ++your layouts are always so nicely complex and good +/-ambience: the rushing sound is good but it needs more imo ++no fps lag at all for me for such a complex/big map.... great work!
Lets get this on the server and play!
I only ran through quick, but if we get it on a server i'll provide more comments, plus i see there is a lot more cools stuff in this map i didn't see on my run-through from the other comments... again, great work!

weird bug i had once regarding path corners. I grouped 4 pathcorners together, and somehow the fire on pass value i had for only 1 out of 4 paths, was copy/pasted to all 4 path_corners!
afaik, it's only happened once, but something to keep in mind if you're having trouble with path corners.

Thanks for this i used it a couple times. I always seem to have trouble configuring env_fade and the trigger_endsection, and this cleared it up for me.. THANKS = )

this is an amazing real-world representation done in an old-as-balls engine and it looks perfectly realistic to me. No pertinent details are left out from the road stripes to the curbs, to any kind of trim or other detail you can think of. If i ever do a top 5 best-looking goldsource maps i've ever seen, this would certainly make it.
Did you do the textures yourself? (i didn't see credits/reamdme). Textures are amazing. World props are amazing: that trolly car i though was a model it's so perfectly done. The atmospheric effects are absolutely gorgeous and just make everything look so real, it's eerie.
There are minor visual glitches i noticed like whole sides of buildings not being rendered and some of the model back faces don't render, but i didn't see anyone else mention it so maybe the problem is on my end.
I can't comment from a gameplay perspective, but it seems rather interesting to see how it would play.
R_speeds are quite high in areas, but i couldn't say how that would effect a multiplayer game nowadays with speedy new comps and gfx cards.
At any rate, a masterpiece of the first order in my book. An inspiration to all who still goldsource map.
