The problem with Strider is that you can't get him working long enough on a single project to finish it. He starts new projects all the time and drops his half-finished ones :<

It takes the first entry in the "Onliners" section and displays that in the image. Since it's likely that the first person in that list is you (because you refreshed not long ago), it should usually display your name. But it all depends on it being embedded in TWHL itself for it to work properly.

Oh, forgot to mention, and it pertains to your "open" suggestion:
The garage area with the two car lifts is a spawn room. The right side is for Red and the left side is for Blu, with an invisible wall in-between. Obviously either side won't be using this spawn at the same time, but each team will get their turn in it as the game advances.
The shot of the office area connected to the hallway, the concrete room with the track / side room, and the area with the tracks going above are all non-combat areas. I'm still debating on if there's going to even be a possibility of having a fight there, otherwise it's kinda like the Blu area prior to a Dustbowl round, just a tad larger (sarcasm on tad). The reason for this willy hopefully be shown later.
The only areas you see that will have combat is the area with the CP, the road leading up to the door of the warehouse, and on the other side of the right fence (as seen in the shot with the train overhead) that's on the other side of the warehouse with the CP.
If those areas looks a little open, it's more of an illusion. It's not as big as it looks in the picture, trust me. Also, some cover will be added, in case you were wondering.
As for the tiles: I was thinking that, but then I remembered when people play they don't notice little things like that, and that's part of the reason it's taken so long to get to where I am, in that I'm doing every detail. I'm trying to cut back on that, but if it's that big of a problem I'll follow that suggestion.

Direct links to images and [simg] tags, please. Align those tiles in the first picture. Those interiors look a tad too open for a game that relies so much on shotgun combat to me.

Shamefully, it's true the good servers are all located in England and America. But perhaps this will change when 0.5 releases, so give it a try then. 0.4 is totally different anyways; much has changed.

Yeah, the vehicle in Mass Effect could drive you crazy. I suspect that Bioware intentionally made it difficult to maneuver the vehicle. Why? I don't know.
Beyond the driving part, the game is amazing. The story is one of the best in all the games I've played.
I also played a little KOTOR, but I think Mass Effect is much better (gameplay and visual).

Sweet! How would you rate the game?
(I cant WAIT to replay some Oblivion on my new computer) ...... not like on my old computer... 1066x600 with no AA, no HDR, all settings on med/low/off and a couple high.

Thank you very much, Tetsu0 and Satchmo. I will do my best with the drawings, and probably supply some of my other "art" as a part of compensation.
satchmo: I was SO tempted to get that Wolfdale chip on Newegg... it has really good reviews and is a step up from my E6600 Conroe chip, but I just can't do the extra money right now.... and my ram is 5-5-5-16 or -18 I don't remember, but it's alright, nothing special. with my 32 bit Windows Vista, more than 4GB I'm pretty sure would be overkill.... doesn't 32-bit systems only read up to like 3.25 GB's of memory or something?
Anyway, thanks again for your guys' input over the years (I'm lookin' at you, Satchmo).
Time to stop making average maps and really put my efforts into high quality inventive mapping!

I copied hunty who copied you. If it was a futurama Zoidberg penis, possibly might be worth the permaban... =/ ...srry almost joined last time but failed. I blame sleep deprivation and PADS and inevitably Zoidberg.

I like it Luke, I can imagine when the final lighting is in place it would look quite solid.
Also.. you don't want to be like me, it's too tragic.
Actually, should probably get a brain biopsy to be sure.
I'll take 3rd World History for $200.
EDIT: Fuck... its osteogenesis imperfecta!
I can come up with ideas all day, but I'm not the Strider when it comes to getting it down in the editor.
EDIT: @Hunter: It's never Lupus.
I see i'm not the only one who gets odd tiles on my blend textures. Any idea why that happens?
I'll be watching this closely =]

So, what? you just change the picture every hour, or what?

That's kinda creepy
So I'm so looking forward to TOR.
i'm losing 728MB ram

Worst driving section of a game EVER and I've played big rigs.

If you're into the whole "Immersing yourself in a game" then you'll love it.

The gaming industry is cut-throat competitive, but if you have a degree it would make you stand out.
I also have the GTX 260 now. It's a sweet card.
I have the E8400 Wolfdale chip and 8 GB of 4-4-4-12 ram. Games fly on my machine.
Just take your time with the drawings. Make it your best work.
I'll have to check it out when I get home today.
