I haven't released a map in 3 years. About time for me to get something out the door as well. Not to mention my skill has improved considerably since then.

FAIL. Turns out snow is going to end around 11 so the streets should be clear tomorrow. AKA: I have to go outside, clean my car off, drive, and actually go to school. Damn.

+Architectue is not super fancy but everything looks good/clean ++Great texturing +cool ambients +Neat effects: i really liked the way you did the neon signs +Map is super vertical but has excellent r_speeds +Looks like it would be fun to play
I can't really think of any negatives except perhaps add more small detail items (not that the map really needs it, it looks great) Adding more detail will kill your fps, which is probably why you left it as is.
All and all a really cool map, and very different from most stuff i'm used to seeing in the vault, great job! = )

Could be you have a short attention span, many people do. Planning your maps out always helps, the more detail the better. Then try taking it slow and practice patience. I say team up with someone.

I'm guilty of this as well. I got plenty of maps that are sitting around unfinished, many of them really good ideas. I'm thinking of starting on some of them again.
Heck, my CS Source "masterpiece" has taken me nearly 3 years on and off, and I'm still only about 70-80% finished.

Concerning snow, i've seen it many times even tho it becomes less common that it used to be.

I mapped for a little over 2 hours, and I have to say it's pretty easy to get back into.
I think my tediousness is going to get time consuming, but so far it's going good.
The more I think about my ideas the more I get excited. Hopefully it stays that way.
