They're still important. If that awesome sidekick with the deep back story, awesomely detailed model and perfect voice acting walks around like he/she's got a stick up his/her ass and limbs made of slinkys, then all immersion is lost on me.

Because of concern in the shoutbox, my definition of 'serious' journal posts extend to the light hearted ones too. Habboi's pirate journal is just fine. We really just want to avoid the completely mindless ones like the "Andrew J. Morris's" and the failcat pictures. No memes of any kind unless they're in conjunction with something else.

Good job though!
I thought I was going to have to scrap my last level due to leak problems, but I think I'll have enough time to fix it with this new extension.
Extending through the weekend is justified I think.
It's odd to end a competition in the middle of the week.
