lol, well did you check it out?

Edit: i just added NICE new features to the map. ill check for bugs then upload.

Next patch will include: 7 new areas and a new boss. there are many other new features like fixes, but i don't want to add any spoilers :)

Oh btw, this is one of the most detail goldsource jump map I have ever seen. ;)

+ Detail, nice one for actuly making the map seem real, not just a box with cubes sticking out.

+ Custom textures always make the map so much nicer!

+ Atmosphere, nice use of rain!

Definitely worth learning Rim, its a great tool, the workflow is amazing and its streamlined with 3dstudiomax/maya:).

Version 8 was definitely the most stable one, didnt autodesk also buy maya?

I wonder what it could be, I'm used to Interloper's compo's where you just submit 1-3 pics of a theme.

Much more work when you have to make a playable map :D

it's not source only, but the two engines are not judged separately. the limits of goldsource will be taken into account when judging and comparing to the source entries.

Max 8 through 2009 increasingly lose stability either way. Max 8 was when Autodesk bought out Discreet. I don't really know the details but it likely has something to do with that.

I have UT3 and the editor at school, but I can't be bothered with learning that right now, somehow i kinda envy you though, its good stuff.

raver, if your quite new to the compo's business, go in the competitons section of twhl and check out some previous competitions. then youll get the idea of what its about.
