HOLY CRAP!
A simply beautiful killbox or in cs FY style map.
Unprecedented, beautiful detailing for this type of map ans well some beautiful effects like the fading sunlight texture and sprites in the center. (the only thing i could think of to make that better was if you made the top center part a world brush with the light above it, so it casts a shadow of that on the floor. you could also fake it by making a brushed approximation on the floor and make it almost completely transparent)
I love the doorways and the little ruins around the nade cache. The broken pillars and bits are nice, and the main pillars look great, but would look better with something other than the rectangular boxes on top and bottom, which make them look plain; i can understand why they're not more elaborate tho from a wpoly perspective, which your wpolys are already pretty high imo for a MP map.
The only thing i really didn't like was the watery bits. i would change the color underneath it or make the water itself more opaque or a different color. I'm not good at doing watery bits, but the water parts in your map pale in comparison to the high level of quality of the rest of the map.
Also no sounds but whatevs, most people leave them out... but something, anything would be nice. Even if you had a fire in the corner and all you could here was the the fire burning or maybe have water running or dripping sound by a grate... you get the idea!

Old cars break down a lot and don't start in the morning with the old carburetors... Unless your a super mechanic, they're highly impractical imo. [/rain on parade sorry]
Actually, the afterburner is much better than the flare gun. Flare gun only ignites, and you pretty much have to hit a static target, its slow, and it falls, so yeah. After burner though, is nice to have to get the Kill 50 People From Behind achievement. From behind, it ALWAYS critical hits. I have yet to unlock the Axetinguisher though... 5 more left to go!

Haha! = )
a perfect copy of a houndeye, done in hammer for the geometry challenge... I have no idea how you made the texturing so perfect, but my hat is off to you! I can't tell the difference between the model and yours!
Superb Geometry Challenge entry. 5 stars (or i would rate it 5 stars if it wasn't in the example maps!)

Either I'd left my laptop on this page and someone in this house wrote that, or there was a mistake in the website itself, because I was playing GTA 4 in a different room at the time.

Try putting up barbed wire around them to protect them from your neighbours dog and why stop there, put up watchtowers with machine guns mounted in them and place tripmine with lasers around the perimeter ala Half life and hey why not buy a tactical nuke that will go of if the perimeter is breached that will protect the kittens.

Texturing 8/10 Seems a bit of a jumbled texture mess but all the dark greys, blues and browns go well.
Team Balance 7/10 The bomb site is a little hard to defend as you can't get a very good line of sight to it and the positions you can see leave you very exposed.
Design 8/10 Following no design I have ever seen, a very appealing surreal map. While really more of an fy map, the bomb really adds that little bit of urgency to it.
Ambience 4/10 Lighting was a bit too drab to my liking, no sound either.
Map Skill 10/10 It is well built and I can't pick on any mistakes, a very nice map.
Total 7/10 (4 stars) A very fun map best for a small server. Although it is a bit of a real/sureal map it is still quite appealing for a little while.

Texturing 10/10 Very nice looking series, textures were applied suitably.
Entity Placement 8/10 All inside areas were superb and zombie placement was effective but not overdone. The outside area with the grunts tucked well away was perhaps a bit heavy but was able to be done. Cutscenes were passable.
Design 7/10 Aside from being quite linear, the concept was good although you don't feel it enough at the beginning.
Ambience 9/10 Lighting was a bit bland outside because of the simple architecture but I really loved the second map and there was plenty of ambience, music was cool too.
Map Skill 7/10 Frankly average, especially the outdoor areas. Inside was more appealing but still a bit dull with the long hallways that lack features. The doors also had no 'lip' setting on them so the edge would flicker with the wall which was a bit of a drawback.
Total 8/10 (4 stars) While it doesn't look like the Next Big Thing, it's an appealing little series and I look forward to part 2.

Lol, you're gonna get the same rating as before(bar one!)
Texturing 10/10 Excellent looking map, there were no apparant texture errors and it was very fitting and well styled.
Entity Placement 10/10 Even combat but interesting in some areas and the weapons were really well placed.
Design 9/10 Other than being a touch on the small side, it played very well with the multi-level combat.
Ambience 8/10 The lighting was very good but some of the inside areas were not lit very well to me. There was no sound but you really can't hear anything but gunfire anyway.
Map Skill 10/10 Overall, the map looks great, I really like it and it looks just like HL2.
Total 10/10 (5 stars) A sweet little zombie-blasting, slashing death arena!!

Futuristic style . I think I left a comment on egir.dk . 4 stars .
Anyway , I like the combination of textures and lights. That's very...interesting. And for some reason , it reminds me of open arena ( a quake 3 arena copy ) . Maybe because of the skybox .... dunno ...
I see you have a great mind . I think your imagination doesn't have limits , and that's good . Use your imagination . ( to be honest , sometimes I lack of it and I'm very upset for that .... I had plenty of imagination when I started mapping , but I didn't know how to use it ...)
In earlier version It had a gun, but I've decided to delete it.
Can't wait to put my hands on those new weapons ;O
Your game starts looking nice bytheway. I assume the tank is fully controllable by now?

Nicely textured, feels like a real place.
Team Balance 10/10
Well, being a symetrical map it is very even.
Design 5/10
The fact that you added the moving door to add a new challenge to the old Killbox design is why you get a few extra points.
Ambience 10/10
Well, there was some very appealing lighting and some sound too, so well done.
