I really enjoyed this. It was a good length and felt very Half-Lifey.
Nice use of the textures, thanks for the credit :)

Brushwork is a bit blocky and there are a few glitchy bits, mostly with clipping but mine was exactly the same due to rushing. You seem to have gotten very good at mapping very quickly!

"It really captures the feeling of the original Half-Life."

Exclusive Video Review

Bottom Line:

One of the best standalone maps I've ever had the pleasure of playing with an entertaining mix of puzzles and combat which instantly reminded me of why Half-Life was brilliant in the first place. With a bit of back story and a greater sense of purpose this would be just about perfect.Download it.

Hah, I find it quite surprising that you had to read that David Tennant is Scottish, but then I guess I'm so used to the main British accents that I can detect their differences very easily.

Also lol, what sort of question is that? Do many people look like me? Uhhh...

Well, maybe not when they're 15...

The infallible rule for men is you can date someone who is (half your age) + 7.
e.g. I am 20. Half that is 10. Plus 7 is 17. The youngest girl I can date is 17. Works 100% of the time.

It wasn't really a hurricane - just a gale-force storm on a mass scale.

"Hurricane Bawbag" is just Scotland being Scotland. I think you'd have to live here to understand.

I think the most amazing thing about that photo is how straight the smoke is going. Really shows how windy it was that it's not dropping or rising at all. Hot air currents are no match for dat wind

Hurricane Bawbag almost killed me today. No joke.

Left the house at 7am, 2 hours of disrupted public transport later and I'm walking the remainder of the journey to college next to a main road.
Huge gust of wind blows me and 3 other people straight onto the road. Literally could do nothing to stop it and if I wasn't so shit-scared it would have been an incredible experience being literally lifted up by the wind.

Luckily the driver approaching at speed was on-the-ball, because he emergency stopped and nobody got hurt.

Amazingly after that I arrived at college, happy to alive and indoors only to be told 30 mins later that they were going to close the college for health and safety reasons. Fucking exceptional. 3 hours back home.

I think the record gust was 185mph today up in the Shetlands. We only had 100mph in Glasgow, but that's a fuck when you're in it. Horizontal hail stones didn't help.

Excellent photo btw:
A wind turbine's generator literally explodes due to being overworked.

I don't think anybody is denying that it's a fucking disgusting act - filming it in particular.

When he gets caught his life will be utterly ruined by a crippling fine and jail time, which is an extremely harsh - though in my opinion justified - punishment.

There's no debate to be had here. Dude does something sick. Dude will be punished severely.
Crollo is just stirring up shit for the sake of stirring up shit, as per usual. Notice in particular the way skals made a fairly reasonable post and Crollo twisted it to such an extent that he managed to interpret that Skals was somehow suggesting that if a member of his family was killed it wouldn't matter.

Fundamental proof that pretty much everything Crollo writes is utter drivel.

Ignore it as best you can.

I can't believe I'm even bothering to respond since you must be trolling again, yet here I am.

Thirty grand is higher than the average yearly salary. It's hardly a "small fine".
Half a year in prison as well? Yes, I do think he'd give a shit. And he deserves the punishment absolutely.

As for him being scot-free at the moment, how could you possibly wire your brain to make you think that's a valid argument for "the government letting these people get off so easy."
Because he's not been found yet he's being let off easily and it's the government's fault?

Will you please stop finding the retard-angle of every fucking topic on this site? Despite what you might think, it's not actually necessary to have a totally idiotic opinion of everything for balance or whatever excuse you reason to yourself with.

None aside from widgets on my home screen. It might be Samsung's colour scheme or something pre-installed. Not sure.

Yes, but the conversation stops being funny as I realise it's the hot one of the two options and I try to get back in.

couple of things:

1. You can't install a new OS without losing all your programs. A non-destructive OS install will keep your files, not programs. The registry would get all fucked up if the programs were kept.

2. Why, why oh why oh why, WHY were your maps and custom textures in your PROGRAM FILES folder? God damn.

I dunno, I'm still of a mixed opinion. I think they've dumbed down the story a bit too much, even though I like the plot itself.
Spoilers inbound:

I don't think they ever should have shown Shane killing Otis. I think it would have been a far more interesting plot point if you only had Dale's accusations to go on and you were never sure if he actually did it or not. Keeps the viewer guessing and would certainly get the series a lot more discussion online as people debated whether or not he did it.

There're a few example of that throughout the series - where something would have been better left as something more subtle or hidden.

Gonna keep watching, but yeah, not 100% taken with it.
