Congratulations on the move. Life is full of surprises, and it's best to take advantage of the opportunities before you settle down with a family.

ATC is definitely stressful. If you don't love it, you shouldn't do it.

Do you want to fly?

Ha! My next book will be a historical fiction based in WWII Shanghai. It's titled "The Hidden Patriot".

It was a sure sign that my PSU died.

Nice first map, especially the ambiance and the use of environmental light.

Now you can start creating more architecture within the map.

Being a teen is hard enough, and being an autistic teen makes that exponentially more difficult.

Sorry you're stuck in such a hard place now. I agree with everyone else that things will be brighter.

I had to fight my way through middle school, and I am a doctor and a pilot now. There's hope for you yet.

Looks really nice from the screenshots. It feels like a real location. The lighting is spot-on without necessarily using light_spot.

Pitch / yaw / roll? Some people here understand it?
That's exactly what I was thinking! Those light_spot entity settings come in handy.

My first flight went extremely well. Even though I've never flown before, I had sole command of the aircraft during taxing, takeoff, and turns. I flew the plane to Catalina, an island off the coast of California. The instructor landed the plane.

What I found interesting is that when I play FPS games, I always have to invert the y-axis from the default mouse control. Yet this is the correct maneuver in an aircraft--moving the yoke forward brings the pitch down, and pulling it aft causes the pitch to go up. This was the original default setting in Doom.

That's how most children learn to walk.

As long as a trusted adult is holding her hand, she can walk all day. It's like that feather Dumbo holds while flying. It's purely psychological.

It's not exactly related, but I posted this video in the morning about having the confidence to deal with rejections. It's the fear of failure that ensures failure becomes reality.

Dream Taking Flight
The vision requirement is actually quite lenient for commercial pilots. If you could get a driver's license, you could fly.

A team of 16 students from each sister city build landmarks of their city, and then the two teams from both cities collaborate to build a bridge connecting the two cities--all in Minecraft, of course.

The latest novel is call "The Cove", and it's styled after Marquez' magical realism. It deals with the dichotomy of youth and aging.

The other one I've been working on for more than a decade. It's called "The Hidden Patriot". It's a historical fiction based on WWII Shanghai.

This is the website I created for our Rotary Club: https://www.signalhillrotary.org/

I am sure you can discern the similarities between the two sites.

Now I watch him play. He's enjoying Red Dead Redemption II now.

I have my retirement planned out. I have so many projects that I am interested in doing.

I plan to go back to school and perhaps get a creative writing degree. I have an outline for a historic fiction set in WWII China (Shanghai, to be exact). I created a new YouTube channel about ADHD last week. And I plan to be involved with the Rotary Club for many decades to come.

I am saddened by Scott's change of attitude toward me as a teenager. He used to look up to me and we did everything together. Now he doesn't even want to talk to me sometimes. Everything I do is annoying to him, and I don't know anything, according to him. It breaks my heart.

I know this is temporary, but it doesn't make it any easier now.

The COVID-19 situation remains pretty dire in Los Angeles, and we remain in pretty strict lockdown. Life during this summer hasn't been easy, and I am still working a lot because babies still need their shots and kids have not stopped injuring themselves from doing silly stunts.
