No no, that's a 4-banger guys, don't hurt yourselves thinking about it too hard. Most V8 motors won't run a displacement lower than 4.0L displacement so that's one thing to keep in mind.

The new features added to the engine itself would be a little hard to put in as mere DLC. Not to mention, for Xbox they'd have to charge for it, HAVE to, and then people that don't buy it won't be even able to play old maps with people that do have it since they're no longer using the same version of the engine...

They under estimated the content they wanted to add, and what they did add, is almost if not more than 2x the original content they had. I have my OXM article sitting in front of me. If you payed $50-60 for the first L4D and got X amount of content, why wouldn't you pay $50-60 for a sequel with X x2 amount of content? I didn't see ANYONE complain about HL2:Ep1 or 2. The content added was minor, particularly in EP1, compared to this. They could take ALL the original content OUT albeit the gameplay itself, and still have enough content to have made this game playable and fun (provided we never had a L4D before this, no one would know the difference). Not to mention, for xbox users, microsofts charge, plus the massive size of content, wouldn't have been worth it. I don't think they could legally release that much content anyway, Apple couldn't legally release iPod/iPhone software update 3.0 without charging for it even.
Tl;dr: Stop complaining because Valve actually decided to release a massive amount of content in a short amount of time for your enjoyment, without having your facts straight.

I run an 8600GTS which you could probably get for about $160 USD now. It's a GREAT card and runs about anything I've thrown at it. If you have money though, I'd say newer is always better.

I agree, if a BMW has to be any color, it's white, pearl white even. Seen an 05 Pearl White BMW at an auto auction i was at once, I loved it. Too bad it went for $20,000+ and that was the wholesale price...

I actually read up on that Cataclysm thing and I believe that it sounds like a reasonable new addition to the game, regardless of what others say. As far as I'm concerned it's probably the best thing that will ever happen to the game if they do it half way decent.
and for unlock to work you have to select the door/computer/locker/register/whatever then use it. you'll know you selected it correctly if it says the name of the item at the top of the screen...

Ouch. While I did have the pain in the ass of trying to find a 3800 that was for SURE a SC unit, I did have the option between 3 or 4 different supercharged cars.

I bought a cheap engine the first time mine blew. Decided not to do so again. Although $400 is cheap, its also very low mileage, and came out of almost the exact same car. Although I'm pretty sure the Escort only has one engine out there, my first time around I was probably screwed out of my motor and given the non-sc version, which has a weaker bottom end and doesn't play nice with a supercharger.
Sorry to hear about your troubles, though.
I WAS going to fuck with a 91 Camaro that need serious body work, but turns out that the body wasn't the only thing rusted out... that thing would've been a nightmare, especially this close to winter.
