@Dimbark: It's like Windows themes. You go to a hospital and replace all signs and symbols with new designs and paint the walls a different colour.

Why not in-game screenshots?

I guess the timing was good enough then :P

It doesn't work like that. It's timed, therefore completely unrelated to walking underneath. You can go back and forth all you want, it won't make a difference.

Perhaps meta-entities weren't such a great idea after all.

It's an example map. I wonder why did I enable ratings.

Perhaps you should have bought a bbq grill and do it the good ole' way.

There's nothing like the scent of slow-roasted meat.

I say it even if I'm not a big fan of meat.

You can't compare the air pressure out of a pressurized can with that of a vacuum cleaner.

I know I am ;)

Not necessarily more knowledgeable, but at least with a better reasoning ability.

I remember there was a similar one where the interviewer asked interviewees whether they agreed to the government's new decision of invadin Blackistan (or some other equally ficticious name) while showing them a map of something that looked like upside-down Czech Rep. or some other eastern European inland country. And all of them said yes.

@Darkie: That's what I do. I'd suppose that's the reason I don't have more friends.

Different genre mod: Yeah unless you're specifically talking about the HL engine, you had Strife - an RPG in the Doom engine. Pretty good for the day, it even had extensive voice acting.

Perhaps he lives in Molvania, where only in the past decade computers entered the consumer market?

Glad to see supportive people around (even if you guys aren't literally around), it does make me feel better. Thanks for your comments :)

Well yeah, it's different with a computer and hundreds of miles of cables in the middle. Outside the digital plains (read: IRL) I'm rather introverted. While I sometimes make an effort not to, I generally keep to myself.

Of course, I can perform "essential social activities" acceptably, such as going to a store and talking to the clerk without freaking out and running away in panic. I have no problem with that, or even chatting with the old lady in the line. But when it comes to making friends it's an entirely different story. I feel I'm no good at that. It never works.

As for the 4-person limit, it's just an approximation. Could very well be 5, I just don't want a large group. Never wanted, actually, I'm not comfortable in large groups (say, 8? 10?). Usually they organically split into smaller chat subgroups and I'm the one left out :P

Oh well, I guess I'm just having "one of those days". Or a few. It'll likely go away and I'll go back to not caring about this soon enough.

You make yourself think that to be less disappointed when you finally play it 3 years from now :P

Halo? Halo Mods? Never played Halo actually. Am I missing out on something?

It's not that they let everyone out when they shut down, it's that all those that were let out long ago and usually come back to visit still come back to visit (but find the place closed and stay outside instead of going in).

I'd have called the police. If there's anything they can do, is deal with these people. And lock them in a cell for a few days until they calm down.

a) I entered a search term and the next page started loading some video. Sounds impractical (and costly for Canadians ;) )

b) Fun! Post here when you make either!

I know a guy so big that whenever he needs a MRI he has to get it at the zoo, because he doesn't fit in the human-sized machines in hospitals. >_>

Still it took him more than a few boxes of ramen. It cost him several decades of everything he could whenever he could. Plus other vices like smoking. Everyone that knows him is surprised he's still alive.

I guess I'll have to pay up front when I need it.

Buddhists against Nazis in central America. OF COURSE. But Ziggurats are't Mayan structures, they're a type of structure from Mesopotamia - the Middle East. Unless of course it's in front of a beach with a samba soundtrack, in which case I won't argue it's absolutely either Brazil or wacky design (or both, knowing the kind of mods you generally write about).

There's a compile error that I'm unable to fix - invalid face or something. Points to the bottom platform near the water but I'm unable to locate the problem brush. Mind checking it out?

Edit: It IS the water. I had to replace it with a new brush.

Also Joe, your comment is very insightful.

I don't like GTA, if you strand 10 metres away from your just stolen car, it disappears and you have to steal a new one. Not cool, I liked THAT one.

Last time I tried to ask, she said I'm overreacting and exaggerating things, avoiding giving me an actual answer in the process. Hence I'm not too enthusiastic about doing it again.

Shit man, how hard it could be to figure out what to do with a friend that first actively ignores you, then says she misses you? What the fuck, I'm not even sure I still want her as a friend after this, it's tiresome.
