Nice! I suggest that you read a little of this http://www.imfdb.org/wiki/Half-Life#See_Also if you're going to do a more realistic remodel of them, as on this site they point out many possible aesthetical mistakes in those weapons.

You're entirely right, but at first, I thought it was polluted to keep all the crates, even if I had turned them into unbreakable for the multiplayer. I recreated the whole map and accidentally removed the metal walkway and realized it was just fine that way. Yep, this a simple remake (replica) which the purpose is to keep it looking like the original.

Correction: the "treat as one" in Hammer Editor's texture application tool is not intended to apply a texture on all the faces of a brush at one time. Instead, use SHIFT+click to select all faces and CTRL' to select multiple objects.

It is helpful. You can open it and replace the light_env properties or RAD compiler properties, compile it and check how it will be rendered in the game. And other stuff.

There's also a RAD file editor that helps to visualize the texlight RGB values.
Surely, these letters have different sounds in each language.
