Anyone else know that feeling when you're told to do problems from previous exam papers to practice for an upcoming exam?
And then you start doing them in order of least recent to most recent?
And you're doing some of the older ones and you think "These questions are pretty awesome, they're challenging enough but they work out nicely in the end and they're not overly difficult"?
And then when you get to the recent exams you realise that for the past few years the lecturer has replaced these questions with ones that don't work out nicely at all and you end up covering pages and pages with numbers and ridiculous fractions and decimals?
And you realise it will be like that in your exam and it's going to suck balls?
I know that feeling.
And it is bad.
I just wanted to let off some steam in a rant. I hate it when they do this, the exam becomes less of an actual test of your knowledge of the subject at hand and more a game to see if they can make you forget or misplace one of the numbers somewhere and end up screwing the whole thing up.

I like making videos, mostly blogs on the main snc channel and goofing around in games on the games channel.
I'm aware however that my blogs consist of me moaning about life which few people would be interested in. I'll be doing another one tonight but I'm considering piling in comedy stuff wherever I can.
I read somewhere that if you need to ask how to make a good video then you're not doing it right, which I fully understand. However, from a vlog point of view, what WOULD you guys like to watch? Do you even like vlogs or should I try and focus more on video game related stuff?

Aside from being sick, the next two weeks are gonna be great.
We've got Protoype 2 released on the 24th, I will say, the original was very good, it had its flaws but it was enjoyable.
Avengers comes out on the 25th and I love the Avengers series on Cartoon Network so I really hope they live up the the series. Also, it has Iron Man and Hulk, I missed hulk but I'm disappointed it's not played by Edward Norton.
Then my birthday on the 27th is meh. I don't like my birthday much.
Then I finally managed to get time off to head the 26 hour Red Flag lan in the city. It's bit of a drive but how I've missed it so. I'll have to brush up on my CoD and CS:S skills
And after that I get to drop round a friend's house who I havn't seen is a while since he left town for Uni. If I'm still awake we'll probably LAN Alien Swarm or Dead Island for the rest of the day. Good times

You know what's not good for headaches and nausea? Staring at code on a 21" screen for 9 hours... I'm staying in bed today. Phone is giving me a headache now too.
Today was the most intense day I've had in years. I had a university interview at De Monfort, for pretty much the best games art course in England. It was all way too serious and scary, I showed the man my portfolio showing the best of my Photoshop & Illustrator work, 3DS Max Work (Models, Bipeds, Particle Effects), Flash Animations (Including y'all comments :D), Unreal Editor 2&3 work, and my counter-strike levels (With a screenshot of Daubsters review for the latest competition), Also had to show him plenty of life drawings and other sketches. He was flicking through my screenshots so quickly I was talking almost as fast as the Japanese lady who showed me around the campus (She was talking extremely fast). But no, I was smiling all the way, not mufflin me words, it went quite well I think. They were nodding and seemed like they liked my work.
A friend of mine from my course had the same interview a few days ago, he wasn't accepted and they declined him straight away. For me they said they'll get in contact with me within a week, so at least I know I have a chance to get into the course! In total over 500 people applied for the course, probably only a 100 got to the interview processes, there are only 40 places, It's very very serious. Wish me luck guys!

Why do I do this to myself?
I woke up this morning, quite obviously ill. I got up, forced down some breakfast, drove the hour long trip to work and sat here in front of a screen all morning. Just forced down some more food for lunch and I am feeling considerably worse.

Cpu: Core i7-2670QM @ 2.2 Ghz
Ram: 8 gigs
Gpu: gtx 525m 2gb
Hdd: seagate 750gb 7200rpm
Display: 17" 1600x900
The price is about 1000$.
For that price ive bought the joy of mobility
Its a fine machine but only 3 things bug me:
It is faster than my desktop apart from the gpu side
Bluetooth doesnt work
No way to get a 120hz signal out of it for my display

My wife got upset at me because I was letting Scott play Counter-Strike: Source.
It was a LAN server, and the only player was him (no bots either).
I was surprised that he has such good aim. He was in cs_militia, and he was able to shoot all the bottles with a pistol, and most of the shots hit the target on the first try.

Playing Fallout 3. Wandered out near Vault 87, and happened upon some brotherhood outcasts fighting super mutants. After the battle, there was only one of the outcasts still alive. Went up to talk to them, got this response:
"Hey, Local, shouldn't you be ban-aaggghh!!!!"
She tripped over her dead comrade and died. I guess the game's Karma system and the physics bugs decided to team up and give some of the outcasts what they deserve for how they treat outsiders.
