I hate lockerbie.

I go there every Wednesday to do advanced higher physics, and it turns out that one of my classmates there gets to go to america for a year, gets basically free money and is spoon fed a shit tonne of stuff to do simply because some asshole crashed a plane there before he was even born.

I wish moffat had a plane crash 20 years ago as well.

Been playing two things recently:

1. Rebellion - a 47-map mod focusing entirely on soldiers. It goes pretty well with the custom mod I mentioned before. I think I saw like 4-5 heavies in the entire trip, some of which were placed in surprising good places (like there's one right outside the train I was riding)

2. Single player The Ship - This can be considered a source mod, I suppose. However, It's kinda dumb. I'm at this one part where I have to escort this fat paraplegic nazi everywhere and there's thugs out to kill him. Soooo hard. This dude appears around the corner with a revolver, and he kills me in 1 hit. It takes 2 hits for me to kill him WITH THE SAME WEAPON, which is just totally unfair. And bots have autoaim so he NEVER MISSES. Not to mention, This dude with a club runs at me WHEN THERE'S TWO POLICEMEN IN THE AREA. And I pull out a weapon and I'm INSTANTLY BUSTED. It's games like these, where the computer is a cheating asshat, that makes me not a happy baby.

EDIT: Ok we've got a decent amount of feedback. Seems you cannot escape problems after all. It seems my flowmaps look fucked up on low settings, particles don't work an we have to remove refracting textures as they are causing a decent amount of framerate drops.

Hey dudes I need someone with CSGO to test my level sometime soon as my partner says he gets a huge drop in framerate when looking at the refracting textures but I do not. We also tested it on a powerful PC and it was fine so now I need someone with a so-so PC to test it for me.

I explored more on fighting glitch trainers in pokemon blue (on an actual cartridge! haha)

This video will show you what the 'default' glitch trainer's battle lineup is. However, by fighting other trainers before meeting the glitch trainer you can change their party. There's a list of possible glitch trainer parties but I only had time to meet 3 of them. One of which was the L111 drowzee that I can never beat.

My team (all pokemon are around levels 30-35)
Hitmonlee
Kabuto
Aerodactyl
Charmeleon
Haunter
Hypno
L12 poliwag for surfing

Glitch Trainer parties I met so far (in addition to the one in the video):

L111 drowzee (pwned my entire party)

L14 Nidoran♀
L14 Magneton
L14 Charizard ´M
L14 Gastly
L14 Grimer
L14 Missingno

A low level party. I breezed thru them with my level 30's. I heard bad things about charizard 'M but he only used ember and weak moves, luckily.

A decently challenging party (notice the Mewtwo!) Their levels are a bit higher than mine but good thing the AI sucks in this game!
I had a bit of trouble with Rhyhorn since he knocked out my hitmonlee. But I used a max revive and hitmonlee's double kick managed to top the Rhyhorn.
Arcanine was ok. I used Aerodactyl who only had wing attack but has rock-type resistance to physical attacks. In the final moment Arcanine used Take Down on me but died from recoil LOL
Missingno's have very poor defense so they were easy to take out. The clefairy wasn't much hassle either (used defense curl lol)
When I saw the Mewtwo I was like OH SHIT and switched to hypno who can tank Psychic in case he decided to use it. He didn't. Or rather, I didn't give him the chance to because I quickly put it to sleep with Hypnosis. Then finished it off.

There are reportedly 23 glitch parties from this method alone. I think I was pretty lucky not to run into some crash-causing enemies. Stay tuned for more on fighting these glitch trainers!

So back in October I started writing a blog from the perspective of a beggar in Skyrim. A beggar who cannot actually beg due to the games limited flexibility with dialogue. The concept was quite similar to the Living in Oblivion and The Elder Strolls blogs by Christ Livingston. I posted 3 days worth back in October, then stopped for some reason.

The reason I am posting about it now is because during the Steam sale I bought the Hearthfire DLC (allows you to build your own house for those not in the know) and I decided that Bob could try his hand at building his own place, all the while avoiding too much excitement and combat.

Anyway, I would appreciate if you let me know what you think and really if it is worth me spending any more time on it.

As tis' the season, Merry Christmas! Below is some exciting news involving Overturn and the current Multiplayer Demo progress!

In the last couple of weeks we have been struggling to find a coder and have begun coding ourselves. Fortunately, we have found a temporary coder who will help us ship out the demo hopefully within a week. Currently, the mod refuses to work with Steam (this will be fixed ASAP) and we were dying to test out some maps over MP. This lead to us using WON2 and so far it has been a blast. After the experience of getting WON2 to work, it has been decided that we will host a WON2 and Steam server when we go live. Also included in this upcoming demo along with new weapons and maps, is the revised Downzone! The first released content from Bloodbath, now is back and better than ever including new traps. Stay tuned!
