you know the people that drive around in crappy little hatchbacks like vauxhall corsas, covered in huge plastic bumpers, exhausts the size of dustbins, with music systems that can only play sounds up to 25Hz, and apparently can only be driven in first gear? they consider their cars to be "modded"
or rockclimbing in the desert when a huge rock crushes your arm to the ground, leaving you with nothing put a pen knife when a friendly passer by says "what would aron ralston do?"
i get the impression that you spend a lot of your time thinking about the matrix, like every single waking second... I'm not complaining, but i'm just wondering if it's good for you.
erm..in case you couldn't read that, find half-life/valve/gfx/env (create it if it doesnt exist) and put the tga's in there, and name the seperate files in the form skynameXX, where XX is rt=right, dn=down etc.
urgh, i just answered them. make the touch button target both the sound and a trigger_relay called whatever you want, but set delay before trigger to 30, and have that trigger the breakable.
4. trigger_changelevel that the player walks into, places them at a named info_landmark in the target map. This may be more complicated, but i havent tried it
5. (i assume you mean follow you) make sure they dont have pre-disaster flag on, and set path_corners where you need them to walk when used. Make sure that each path_corner is in visual range of each other, and not too far off.
Anyone heard about new glasgow band Franz Ferdinand? I saw them on Jools Holland the other week and they were great. Apparently they went to do a gig in someone's flat in Edinburgh on New Years eve when the concert was cancelled. I was really pissed off about that, cuz' i live in Edinburgh.
i just bit the bullet and removed all but the most essential light styles, trying to arrange it so that the lights only fall on certain faces is almost impossible
i'm the alien person hello could you make the doors func-trains seperately, it would be complicated but if you have path_tracks where you want the doors to open to...in fact this would be monumentally complicated
oh god here we go again....ok, reasons why the matrix trilogy does not "own all".... The first matrix film was excellent. Reloaded carried the visual style on extremely well, but as it was 2nd in a trilogy, as typically happens, much of the film was tedious plot work, and too much time was spent on unimaginitive and mediocre character development. The third, however, was a complete and utter mess. It feels unbalanced, stagnant, and stunted. The plot (which was done well in the first two) collapses into meaningless nonsensical turd, and stumbles off down non-essential and just plain stupid routes. The bulk of the film was just a digital, repetitive light show without any real power. The characters are 1-dimensional at best (i forgot that trinity dies for several weeks), and ultimately the viewer has absolutely no interest in them by the end. Shame really, because The Matrix is a classic.
