New one looks solid though you should inset the glass on those glass windows a bit. Looks weird with em flush and all.

Nothing really, some pipes, but I deleted them and it worked fine before.

Just figured I'd toss it up if anyone actually had an answer. It caused the non-entry of Petrol too, so when I find the problem I shall tie it to the wall and beat it with a stick.

I do have a Dispmap stuck in a surface somewhere I vaugely remember Console telling me....I'll look into it.

Snarkpit has a tut on it.

Essentially you aim your point_camera at something, name it, setup an info_camera_link to hook it up to your func_monitor or something, and it shows an image.

Looks pretty nice though it needs some fiddling, that vent should have a clipped @ 45* or curved edge imo, since it looks a bit too boxy to me. (Yes, 'tis a vent, but still...)

I think teh NS team is still undecided over a Source version. Dunno, we were talking to Flayra on IRC a while back and I recall him saying probably something would be done, though...it's Natural selection btw ;o

I don't think an official TS remake is in the works either...?

What entity are you using? Light_spot will obviously make a little spot, so if it's a plain light entity, try increasing it's brightness.

Actually it's not really useful for anything, GM, except taking funny screenshots ;( - I posted it coz you mentioned it ;D.

One more thing - You need to mess with your env_global to set the combine soldier to be friendly towards player - Otherwise he'll attempt to frag you before hitting his button and doing his little sequence.

Remember to setup path_corners (I think they're still there) to set a path for your guy to follow as well.

You esentially place an env_sprite and select a fire sprite with the browse button, if you've extracted all of the content. Then compile and youre good to go.

Em, they changed quite a bit more than just simple variable names :/

It won't work. CS:S has built in bots but you have to find the DLL for bot-enabled play.

Indeed, and if I wasn't as busy with Source projects I would try my hand at a HI map or two.

If they come out with a Source engine port, then it has a pretty nice chance if it's released before Insurgency.

You don't set inputs...

The system is just a replacement for the targetting system as it removes the need for lots of the trigger_ entities (ie trigger_relay) and multimanagers and makes scripting entities a whole load easier. You can have a single entity have 3 outputs that target 3 different entities instead of targeting a multimanager that targeted the three entities.

There's no rain tex for HL2. You have to use the CS:S one or your own apparently.

The wind does not need to be triggered. I placed an env_wind once in Petrol and it started blowing my dustmotes around even though it wasn't triggered. If you named it though you do need to remove the name or trigger it.

I think that's the TronGlow mod in effect :) - Not sure if they've coded that in.

I like HI, though the earlier version(s) I played seemed a bit boring mainly due to the maps. The new ones shown in the images look very nice, however.

'tis a code bug as weapon_ entities (the ones teh players drop when killed) are coded to delete on round spawn. Since the weapons are placed with the actual weapon_ entity and not a different one like armory_entity they disappear.
