The economical capitals of the world are definitely moving east. But neither of the developing countries in Asia would hold their own without exporting massive amounts to Europe. What I think we'll see in the future is further globalisation, eg. equalisation (is that a word?) between developing countries and first world countries. We'll get poorer, they'll get richer.
As far as super powers go, India and China are probably going to work hard to aspire for the position of top Asian nation, alongside Japan. They're both space racing the way America and the Soviets did in the 60's, and the competition'll likely escalate.

Really? Their only real problem is the noise being made over Tibet.India's currently at conflict with Pakistan, another incredibly powerful nation. China has some troubles both with the Tibet situation as well as the Burmese dictatorship.
