Ok It's the Cached.wad file. There's two files in it. CONBACK and LOADING. However Wally couldn't open these. But I'm looking into it but Andy won't be able to post or update any new tutorials until next year.
I'll just post them here in this tread until then.

What the hell, uploaded a mini map in the example maps vault... Had the time before going (that is, now!!!). Take a look at it, it?s easy.
By the way, the teleports are set without effects so if you want something more complex... ask again.

Hmmm... Gotta go now but drop me a mail (my adress is in my profile) and I?ll pop a little example map. Oh, try setting the Destination in each room away from the teleport brush in that brush so they don?t overlap. Maybe it won?t work but...

Yeah... This should work ir you move your prefabs around... I think it also works if you rotate them. The FIT thing can lead to strange results, for example, if the prefab only displays part of the texture it will be shown entirely, as well as if the prefab features the texture tiled twice, fit will only tile it once (that is, not tiled).
Use the TL button to turn it on and then quit and restart Hammer. It should be left as default.

Yea I just can not figure this out at all.

Just a teleport fro one room to another and then on the other side a teleport back to the orig. room.

There is another little button with tl on it that locks the texture so that when you move it the texture does not move. That might be easier....

Well... As you know, a ladder consists of 2 parts: a brush with the image of the ladder and another with the func_ladder...
Nice, turn the picture brush into a FUNC_WALL (if you haven?t done yet) and in its properties look for the RENDER MODE and set it to TEXTURE. Now, in the FX AMOUNT set 255... You?re done.
With this property, you get the blue color to be rendered completely invisible...
Now you could divide your image-brush-ladder in 3 parts: one for the steps and the other two for the sides, so you can see them in a more realistic perspective... If you need help just ask for an example map :).

you shall have two brushes one with the ladder texture and one with AAATRIGGER textur do the ladder texture brush to func_wall set Render mode to Solid and FX Amount to 255
Do the brush with AAAtrigger texture to func_ladder set this in front of the brush with ladder texture.

I have asetup a ladder using the {ladder1 texture and set the function_ladder. Everything works great the ladder works. But my question is how do I get rid of the blue in the ladder texture. The spaces between the runs is blue but I wanted it se through to match the wall textrue.

ok, i'll need ur email address so i can send u some details of the mod! Also, i dont mind that Vassy used ur map instead of mine cos mine turned out rubbish in the end cos the bathroom in it made the map go past the MX_LEAFFACES limit.

Is anyone interested in helping me build a map for my NEW mod. It is a black mesa mod. The map should contain blue lab textures (the one's from 'Questionable Ethics'). If you are interested please say and I'll send the details by email. The mod is going to be based around a scientist (Slick) who works in the advanced technology research department in Black Mesa when the accident happens! It will replace my old Nuclear Core projects (which will be on hold until I feel like finishing them!).

You must have good experience to do this as it will need some advanced laser and stuff effects!

OK, I'm just gonna stick with regular HL weapons. I would love dearly to have a barney with MP5 model (If you are a high def-er, make a barney with M4A1 model, which is what I really want)! However, it isn't that important. My C++ compiler's kinda lame anyway. Oh well. I made a civilian otis by reskinning the armoured otis, and it looks ok! Any other single player mods out there? I'd love to play another...

just make a new weapon yourself! You need to know some C++ though! Step 1: Extract the model of the weapon of your choice from the pak file. Step 2: Learn C++ and create a file for the weapon! Just guess the values! Should be quite easy once u know c++ (which is fedit impossible 2 learn, i know cos i've learnt it ages ago!) :D

And, well, as I said, I?m a teacher ?cos I?ve just finished my pedagogical studies.
Still I?ve got to do some exams (set in Summer, 2005) to get a lifetime job, guess I should call myself "Working Teacher" then (If I pass). I?d teach only music although it doesn?t allow me to look over everyone?s shoulder on the area, anyway, teachers in Spain were good seen 80 years ago, when education was not available to everyone. Now that everyone goes to school and children got more and more privileges in education (imagine a law telling that they will never repeat a year, even if they?ve done nothing!!!... They do nothing, laugh at you and then tell their parents you laughed at them so you end up without your job) we?re not good seen. Hope situation changes with new law changes.
But I?m getting out of topic. Let?s end spamming and solve this like men in the Stuff forum :P.
