OpFor, except I thought the friendly player AI sucked.
Damn right, I remember a bit with a derelict building and a corridor (narrow), with a changelevel in the middle - I had three friendlies wi' me, and I really needed them - too about fifteen level changes back and forth to get them on my back!

How interesting.. wonder what it could have been :nuts: :nuts: Stupid Microsoft Windows 2000 profesional Service packs mucked up my Direct X and Graphics cards... Made my games thing i did'nt have Graphics card and made them think i had Direct X 2.0 :badass:

Do you start a server or just type in map in the console? You won't get any guns from start if you're using the map command since the functions in CS which gives you guns from start won't be run.

Why is it that when I open my map(cstrike), I can choose between T and CT... but dont have any weapons for a start. I usally begin with a pistol, 100 hp e.t.c. But now there is now such interface... :

Please help!

Weird... I can get it to run and identify itself as a TFC map after compiling without VIS and RAD.
But when I compile with VIS and RAD (I don't get any errors) it crashes on load up, and never at the same place. But mostly just after the texture load?
There are problems with the way you have your goals set up, but you know that, and I have pointed you to TFMapped.
I think the basic structure of the map is not at fault here.... So it must be an entity based, light based or goal/property problem.

Sorry Panda but this map needs a serious TFC mapper to have a look at it.

My only suggestion is to delete the two objects you added and try again.

Day of Defeat is an old favorite of mine...
Counter-Strike and TFC are prefered Multiplayer.
SP stuff... OpFor, except I thought the friendly player AI sucked.

how do i trigger an env_fade and a func_train when i reach an area(or go through a tp). and using spirit, does the flag "fade from" make the ent fade from black to visible.

Hello,
I am having trouble with a teleportation sequence that I have been working on. What is supposed to happen is the player comes in and presses a button then lasers and sounds etc etc etc turn on. Anyway, after he teles the whole sequence stops and resets for the next person who happens to stroll by. So I guess my question is, how do I have everything in the sequence stop and then reset?

The best place for that info is TFMapped. I don't know much about TFC mapping, so I am reluctant to guess at the problem. Thats also the reason I left the waypoint config alone... I don't use foxbat, but if it's any use the config your using looks standard and I can't see why it wouldn't run.

I have an info_player_start and an info_tfdetect but for some reason tfc doesn't see my map anywhere. My map worked fine but i added two objects and didn't touch either the info_player_start nor the info_tfdetect. Whats wrong here?

I've never been able to change the target of a camera either. A quick fix is to use a second camera set to look at the other target. Just trigger the second camera when you need it, you don't have to turn off the first camera.

Yeah, how do you do it? I've tried trigger_changetarget so in my compo map the camera stops focusing on boris (walter) and starts focusing on ourumov (gman) but it didn't work. I even had a fade to cover up the switch...what have I done wrong? I trigger the t_ct and I think I set it up right:

Name: fade
Delay before trigger: 0
Killtarget:
Target: camstart
New target: ourumov

Have I set something up incorrectly? Or is it just the hammer 3.5 fgd just being really buggy?

PLEASE HELP ME! Not long left now!
