The lost vikings is a fun game,actually one of the best adventure games I've ever played! And Prehistorik 2 is kinda fun but not so much! :) I myself prefer the Zools and Fury of the furies! :cool:

To make monsters patrol or stuff like that! If you will use scripted_sequances you could pass in front the monsters with out them noticing you cause it's over rides their AI but path_corners doesn't so it means that if they will see you or an enemy they will act properly.(run,shoot...ect) ;) The 67th vlatitude has a tutorial on this! :D

I've included opfor's plant model and marlborometal's key model in my map. I placed them in Valve/models/my_models does that mean that you have to place them in the same directory(probebly not) or anywhere else in valve/models?(I just wanna make sure) :|

Then you probebly don't know whats hot! Hot means when the tempature is higher then 35c,the sun burns and everything is really really dry! :P

I think the stairs in the game weren't so steep! :

I think I'll do a little bit of experementing! ;)

Well...the maximum hight of an obsticel that a scientist can go over it is 17 units and they can be turned into every number of steps that you want but I'll do farther experimenting untill I'll find it! :D

Yay I got it and now I will only need to do a little bit more experementing! :glad:

As you see in the picture the secret is that the width of the step must be two times bigger then the hight! As I said before the maximum hight is 17 unit. Only then the monster will be able to climb the steps!! :biggrin:

This should be added to the dimensions tutorial,I think! :)

Read the render tutorial and in the render mode choose texture(transperent) and in the render amount write 0! The button will target an env_render that will target that convoyer! In the env_render's render amount,lets say 100-200,and tick the no renderfx,no rendermode and the no rendercolor flags! Make sure that the no renderamount flag isn't checked! :)

Never ever make a hollowed cube around your level with the sky texture on it! Here are the right ways to make skys! ;) And if you know how to clip and VM you wont need caving! :D

I remember Weeman asked the same quastion and we couldn't answer it for we were so sure a scientist can do that! :| Also the slave has a spacial animation for this and in blue shift I remember that the soilders did it! :nervous:

I just thought of something- why not put clip brushes between the steps to turn it into a slope!! :o
