Sometimes, switching the texture to 'world', or 'face' flips it too, but use negative numbers.

in spirit, all grunts have handgrenades,

Sometimes kiltargeting does not work, and the sound stays there untill the map is reloaded, (usually if you save and then load it)

its a bit buggy

Hmm, it is the nubmer of named lights on a face,
go to the co-ords it guves you and delete some named lights from the area, and texture lights count as named lights, and so do switchable and pulsating etc..

Hmm, Checked this thing, and yes, its a bit buggy,

Use a trigger once right under or covering the player start to trigger the mult_manager, that's how i get arround it

yep, water's the answer, just a 2 unit thick brush does the trick,

try turning it into a func_wall, and setting the render mode to texture to make it invisible ;)

A sound tut would be a very good idea... Tell ya what, since i owe you a second tut on level-changes, i might as well get in contact with the monkey man for a sound tutorial covering all properties of Ambient_generics, env_sounds :cool:

Um, a tutorial like that would take years to write and weeks to download and god knows how long to complete

you're basically asking for everything - everyone wants that, but no one to date bothered to make a tutorial like this, its just not humanely possible do do that i'm afraid, C++ alone is about a 1000page read, AI takes years to master (code your own i mean) :zonked: :zonked: :zonked:

I guess you'll have to grin and bear the fact that you have to read lotsof different tuts and not just one - if that was the case then there will be no sites like this one - there will be one page with a download link... CLICK HERE TO KNOW EVERYTHING

btw, the answer to the meaning of life, the universe is 42 in case you're wondering ;)

heh, in some games you can shoot your self in the legs.. not as much fun as you might think it is... it gets pretty crappy afterwards when your enemies start shooting and you can't move because your legs are beeng hit :x

Check the entity report for that sprite... does the env_sprite entity show up?

is that sprite your own?

is it in the right folder? ( /valve/sprites/bottom.spr)

Do you need it?
If not, then copy an existiong one and name it bottom.spr to make a fake :P
