No what I meant was habboi, the models were created for gmod, but I want them to be in my map. How do I get them in Hammer, I know how to get them into the gmod game itself, but I need them in my map. I know the author, and he gave me permission. (dav0r and steinmann)

If I go into Hammer, will it appear in the model browser? I want them as prop statics

I have downloaded some models, which include the .vmf, .vmt and .mdl files.
How do I put these into Hammer?
I tried reading the "Your first XSI model", because at the end it tells you how to install them.

But those are smd files, and I really don't understand.
Any help?

If look look inside the red square, I followed the tut exactly, and I keep getting that error. When I carry on, inside hammer I get purple and black squares. the Image dimensions are to the power of 2!

I think that means something like 200x200 or 400x400.

What's the problem?

I'm following the source custom texture tut, the file is targa!

Yeah, I've been thinking. As you know, Garry's Mod is coded in LUA.

Not something like C++ or what ever.

Is it possible to create a mod for the source engine COMPLETELY in LUA, and still have all the maps and stuff, I know LUA, but I can't do C++.

I can Access the internet using IE.

I already stated that He can use the internet, but no steam.

The filewall dosn't block it, because my steam works perfectly, he connected to my network. Which is on NTL, he used to be on AOL. Steam thinks it's still AOL.

I need to know how to change it.
No parent controls are on. We don't have a blocking system or whatnot.

you need to use the enititu tool.

The entity tool is the light bulbed shape one. Click it, and on the drop down menu, select the ammo type you want, somewhere near the bottom of the menu.
Then, in the 3d world cam view, place it where you want.

Right, my friend has a laptop. At his house, his internet is with steam.
When he brings it over here, it changes to NTL.
He is plugged into the internet and all that kinda thing, but steam wont work.
It wont even go into offline mode.
He can access the internet on it, but no steam :(

We turned off all his firewalls and protection, but the goods arn't working.

Any ideas?
Maybe steam still thinks that it's trying to connect to AOL dailup, instead of our NTL network (Which is broadban).

Don't post something useless like "Don't use AOL, it sucks".
I want help, don't diss AOL, I know it's crap.

It's better to learn other langauges when you are young. It's easier, but, it takes a long attention spam.

I think my replies are okay. I'm 1/2 Canadian and English, although not many people know that. But English is my first langauge.
I'm only 13, but my language is better than most people's of my age.
Apart from my last comic (which had too many spelling mistakes).

One thing that pisses me off is people who get to and too confused.
A example of "to".

"Young Billy went to the old corner shop." Not "Young Billy went too the old corner shop."

A example of "too".

And, it's "Yeah". Not "Yea".

(Even though "Yeah" isn't a word, still, spell it correctly!)

"It's too hot!" Not "It's to hot!" :furious:

Well, fair enough. They are non-belivers. But when religous people come and protest saying "It's a sin!!", and trying to stop it, well, they are interfeering in other peoples lives. That's not right. Sure they can say "We dont like it, but we gotta live with it". They cant say "OMG!!1! religion decides to make non-religous people not get married LOllz!1!11".

I didn't think it was spam, I just wanted to test my editing skills in Fireworks. Although My cat does own, alot, I edited this pic quite well. I wanted more comments on that rather than the cat itself. I should of pointed that out.

This was not done in Photoshop, other wise it would of been put in a photoshop thread or summin.
