Yeah, I was thinkin about puttin cues but the most professional way to do it would have to be custom voice files, and I haven't gotten around to setting that up. Wandering around in That kind of environment Does get annoying I admit.

AT, your gripe (sniper delay) - is a code related thing. Anyone who cannot code cannot change the way the sniper works, it will always be a crossbow.
Your other gripes (hev sleeves and "open fire gordon") both require resources outside of Hammer and mapping, such as modeling and sound editors, which mapping alone cannot change. I just thought it was kinda unfair to rate down on things that he can't change/fix, but oh well players don't really delve into that right. Strictly speaking, we actually should only rate it based on its mapping (which I thought was pretty impressive)

you should play some mods to look for challenging bosses. I can remember one, it was a crawling nihilanth with a barnacle tongue and he chases you around the room very fast you have to run or else he catches you and you will become dinner.

I'm actually more of a single-player mod enthusiast, so I haven't tried much MP mods. Right now I have MP mods sven coop and battle grounds (a American civil war themed mod) but that has like no servers. I tried some MP mods without success.. I remember trying hammy bob but that crashes way too often. I had Firearms with bots but the maps were too big (and therefore, laggy.)
I remember playing wanted MP with their bots which was pretty fun. Though I doubt there are wanted servers up on steam, I tried vampire slayer because it had bots but unfortunately, the bots were too stupid due to the complicated way that you have to kill vampires (you have to gib their corpses or otherwise they soon revive), so the vampire side always wins.
I don't play MP mods too often since there is, like 50 other SP mods on my to-do list though if we happen to have the same time off my steam account is the same as this username

I just played fathom and I have to say it was really good (except the part where I drowned.) I reely hope your FINAL map is singleplayer, but it's your call so what can I say.

ahh, reminds me of back when my computer was playing starcraft 1, and then suddenly, it exploded. Smoke had risen from it and the screen shuts off completely. Welcome to the club.
Hello new member: So I tried your mappack and it took me a while but here is what I thought So, the first area, the ventilation system, you know how you put that breakable there that activates the broken door? Well I kinda thought it was really hard to find and anyone with no patience is going to start cheating (or worse, quitting). There is nothing about that breakable that looked like it was breakable, you know? So I was stuck wandering there for a while.
Second, the insta-death fan. I didn't know how to turn it off so I had to walk into it repeatedly and try to survive. Took about 6 tries. Was this intentional? It is really annoying to say.
Third, that explosion right when you enter the trainstation. It knocks off about 85. So I was wondering, if I arrived there under 85 HP even with those two medkits added, will I be stuck forever? I suspect you put that because so that players won't be cheap and take fall damage shortcuts in that area, but honestly the 85 HP explosion is a very bad design choice.
Finally, the bottom door, where only the top part opens. I really had NO IDEA how to get through that. Like, at all. Can you explain?
No autosaves? I find from experience that lacking of autosaves will make people lose patience really quickly (added to your death fan and 85 explosion) which made me really want to quit and give up.)
Mapping-wise, it is very nice to look at. That storage shaft was really nice and I've not seen anything like it (and I've seen alot of maps). The sequence with the scientist was also pretty nice. But of course, the people around the facility who died in the strangest ways was a pretty good theme. I like it.
Anyway, just consider the stuff I mentioned; and well if you expand beyond that 4th map I'll prolly try it too!

also a month is tad small, maybe 2 months to include the christmas vacation is better..
