@Capt. Yes I am staying at one of the park resorts. I can't remember which right now, but it was amongst the cheaper ones. I suppose I'll give Rim a nudge but I'll be out of there before I know it. So unless he wants to join me at the park, sweating balls in mile long lines... I figure there wouldn't be a lot to discuss.
I also hope it's not like in Itchy and Scratch Land where the mile long line leads to a complaints desk. *bonus
@Striker: The french invention is called a bidet. You probably have one too, and bad news: There is no such thing in the US. And the fun in the RPi was that I wouldn't need to lug around a monitor or screen, and instead use the television sets already available in hotels.
RPi = $35 Power adapter = $20? Rubber keyboard = $20? Total = $75
It is a shame because they are on super back order. The cheapest netbooks are around $250. But oh well, they come with a battery and their own screen. Will be good for the long flights.

Well. Tickets for Disneyworld were mandatory. I'd rather not spend my whole time sweating balls and waiting in long lines, but I had no say over that. 3 days there, even. Brain will beg for mercy.
A day trip to Boston is under consideration. It's not too far, but my father seems reluctant. Probably because he never was there. I'll post any news on that.

Anything that automatically downloads itself to your system is rude and not tolerable. And potential malware. Shoving things down people's throats is an impolite, aggresive and unethical form of advertising. Sadly, many companies fail to understand that. I deeply loathe anyone using such forms of advertising.
I would never accept such a thing, for many reasons but mainly because it may later update itself to be harmful without me knowing.

No I think it's normal HDD activity noise, just louder than I'm used to. Or maybe it's just that the loud fan is no longer active and masking the normal HDD noises.

Actually, I have a problem with D3D in Half Life. WON Half Life. Setting it to D3D makes the whole game lag several seconds behind my keypresses and mouse movements. Completely unplayable. I can only run it in Software (sucks) or OpenGL mode (looks the same so I don't care).

Is it me?
Don't panic, Jeff. You're not left behind. But I know how you feel. I wish I could say more to make you feel better, but I can't think of anything right now.

Seeing a leek in a dream only means you're hungry :3
I don't believe in dreams meaning anything. Look up one dream on the internet, and different sites will say completely different, sometimes even conflicting things.
I sometimes dream of my teeth either falling off or disintegrating. Sometimes even instantly regrowing, only to fall off again. Got nothing worth anything from the internet. It's probably just some subconscious fear of losing them.

Working to someone else's specification is easy. Working to your own specification is impossible. I never finish my own site because I'm never too sure of what I should put in it.
In my line of work, things are a bit different. You generally can't go back to fix things. You take good photos, it's your skill and experience and everything is good. You take bad photos, you blame it on bad lighting and everything is still good.
Actually no, if I fuck up I have to give out a discount or something. But most of the work can't be redone, so I don't have to do extra work.
Bring me a didjeridoo

@Capt: It's from The Terminal.
@Stojke: WTF
Just keep an eye on it in case its head falls off.
...except in the States. But Urby is not in the States!
Now, joke aside, don't worry. Seriously, don't stress yourself. You will find a way out soon enough.
...and if you don't, you can still sell the car
Yeah I almost did the same once.
I hear there are straight bananas in Australia and there is an whole culture dedicated to bending them.

But what are you going to do now?? D:
But will you please stop forcefully shoving HD video down my pipe with the &hd=1 part of the URL, my bandwidth will appreciate it
Fetch me one of these while you're there.
Grats. Now you're a grown up.
Have fun.
And my computer is not THAT old.
