I found Dogmeat within a few hours of starting, although he's never really been of much use. May be because of the glitch that means if I ask him to look for stuff, upon exiting the 'conversation', he'll immediately start a new one, and the only way I can exit it is to tell him to stop looking. D:

That happened to me a while ago. And somebody I knew (who doesn't know much about computers) left their computer in the company of some pranksters (who do know about computers), who ended up setting it so that a giant photo of a penis appears whenever it is turned on. She's also afraid that her mum will see it some day, as she occasionally uses it for the internet.

Wait three days, tell the mother that the test results are back, and then tell her that he's going to die. Wait for it to sink in, and then yell "April Fools!"

Now that I'm actually able to see it (hooray for weekends and the free time they give), I can say that it is an amazing video. I especially like the futuristic Minority Report style interface. It reminded me of a book I read a while ago called The Dancers at the End of Time, in which most of the characters at the end of time have power rings which are used to affect reality in a very similar way.

Your sense of sight would only 'give out' if there was an atmosphere in the hallway to eventually diffuse the light. If there wasn't, then you would be able to see infinitely far. That is, provided you wait an infinite amount of time. However, if you were going by mapping rules, you'd have to wait even longer, so you can compile the infinitely large map.
[Edit] Of course, what you see depends on the direction that you are looking, as WC said. If you were to turn around, you'd see the ninja monkeys who were sneaking up behind you.

I would have thought that you'd have to wait for eternity, as the light coming from whatever there is to see has to reach you, but it is an infinite distance between you and it. It's just that monkeys are better.

The category closets The Grinch underneath a theology. The Grinch copyrights Christmas on top of the card. The Grinch fries Christmas opposite the loud sheep. Christmas refuses an unclear layer. The Grinch distresses a borderline. Christmas scrolls The Grinch after the stair.

Had I remembered to comment on the map itself, I would have said that the second sky looks nice, but it would be a good idea to let the player see it from good vantage points, like in the second screenshot, lest it go unappreciated.

I hope he pulls through. I remember my Dad once telling me about when he had to tell a new mother that her baby had died shortly after the birth... I doubt that I'd ever be able to do something like that, or this.

If you can't tell what's happening in the pictures, then just use your Imagination! [/gay]
Although to be honest, those pictures are fine for judging the general architecture of the areas. The only problem I have with them is I can't tell what's going on in the second last picture.

All this news about snow in England and the East coast of Ireland is annoying. We've had nothing at all on the West coast. Looks cool though. The snowman reminds me of the one that my friend made on our school tour to Italy. Of course I only found out that it was made of large blocks of ice with a bit of snow on it after I'd headbutted it over.

I wish I could modify it, but my laptop has been confiscated for the week, as a result of not attempting to study for my exams. D: I know of several problems, such as the lack of detail on the computers, or a lack of seats in the cockpit. That was mostly because I was getting a lot of the short ### faces error. When I get my laptop on the weekend I might increase the size of some of the less noticeable textures, so I can add more detail to the computers. I'll better the lighting and sound as well.

Fixed. I knew there'd be a problem with mapping when tired. At least now I don't have to eat my hat, which is convenient considering the fact that I don't have one.

Luckily I haven't got the red ring of death yet, and I'm hoping that I'll never get it. (Although chances are that I just jinxed it and I'm going to get it within the next week)

I've never actually completed a map. :/ I always suffer from a surge of inspiration followed by boredom, and this, coupled with my inability to do a map that's fun to play, means that Ive got a folder with several hundred set pieces, but not one map that's actually playable. D:

I remember I'd read a novel by the time that the people in my class had learned to read the sentance, "the cat is big", but I didn't start reading that early. He seems to be destined for great things.
