Let's say if he were to play with another different game while being married to the first one, would that constitute marital infidelity by his part? Yea,.....this guy needs to be put in a mental institution.

@ srry: Many times violence is part of a sports game, sad, but true. Take Skal's example, a school basketball game. Some would say that the reason a fight broke out, is because school kids were involved. Well, guess what,.....just as many fights beak out among multi-millionaire professional basketball players in the National Basketball Association (NBA).

TIP: Before posting a fairly good sized paragraph on either the journals or the forum, paste it first in MS Word, or any other text editor with a built in spell checker. Once you see the high lighted text that got singled out for spelling correction, fix it, then copy & paste the corrected text on to whatever forum or journal you were on.

I will give you the benefit of the doubt, Rimrook. With that said, assuming what you say you saw is some type of apparition, I strongly urge you to try to make the effort to see if you or your girlfriend can take some pictures or even some video.

So satchmo, or rather Dr. Young, when are you planning to start your national book signing tour? Man, the moment Oprah mentions your book on her show just only once, you can then say hello to the New York Times Best Seller list, which would lead to you rolling in millions of $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$!!!!

You can say the same thing for the left wing feed of CNN, MSNBC, HLN and a few others that cater to liberals. Oh, and as for "while giving as little information as possible", that comes down to "depends who you ask". No, I'm afraid your analysis is too vague, Luke. You going to need to do better than that.

Those four Xbox 360's in the basement, were they setup in System Link mode? I know when the full game comes out, it will be able support up to 8 players via System Link.

@ ATDestroy: I suppose that would be the case, but only if said small, more close knit forum community like you put it is a dedicated religious discussion board from the start. Now, if maybe one day TWHL's core base membership grows large enough to support a more topic-varied forum section, then perhaps a dedicated religious discussion sub forum might be set aside inside TWHL's general discussion forums. But that's a big maybe, chances are it won't never happen.
@ JeffMOD: Yea, exactly my point. That's why I covered that on the 2nd. paragraph on my 1st. post on this journal.

Being that TWHL is somewhat a small online gaming community compared to some of the other bigger ones like FPS Banana, IGN or Gametrailers, which has thousands of active members, there's just not enough people on TWHL to generate the needed "room" for a hot-button topic as what religion is. What I am trying to say, is that the TWHL website is not the right venue for this type of topic.
Now, I don't think there's a problem in briefly mentioning religion on some discussion if it's warranted, as long as it does not override the thread's main topic, leading to a major flame-bait. But I guess to be on the safe side, it's better to not even bring the subject of religion in the first place. Sad to say, not everybody here is mature enough to have a religious discussion, and this is a fact that's already been proven true.
Now, as gamers that many of you here in TWHL are, if you really have the need for a religious discussion, and want to have one with other gamers that are actually looking to have one with you, then you might want to head over to Gametrailers.com's forums, sub-section "Religion and Philosophy". There you will be more at home in religious talk, just make sure you don't get out of hand, the mods there will ban any flame throwers.

I played it a few times on the Xbox360, it is the best damn superhero game ever! Better even than Marvel: Ultimate Alliance 2. The attention to details as far as the DC universe is concerned is very good in Batman: Arkham Asylum. Now, if only they did the same good development treatment to the Superman games.......

You know what, if Rimrook's situation is as bad as he makes it sound, the least of his worries would be to post any more entries on this journal for the time being. Priority #1 will be to look for another place to move in, nothing else, and with only less than 48 hours left, every second counts and time is of an essence, distractions are not a good thing right now. 48 hours might sound a lot on paper, but when you are looking at the prospect on being out on the streets, those 48 hours might just as well be only 48 minutes, they will go by in a blink of an eye! I can tell you all, that I have been in this situation myself not once, but twice, and it is very depressing. Well, I really hope it works out for you, Rimrook. Good luck.

It's not often I hear a power supply unit going bad, more often than not is the mother board or memory sticks that could go bad.
How exactly is it that you learned that your "power box thingy", which I assume you are referring to the power supply unit, is the component that is breaking down? Now, don't get me wrong, I am not saying it can't be the power supply unit, after all it could very well be it. All I am asking is to provide more details on why you think it is the power supply unit.

Finally, I was wondering when somebody was going to bring up Obama's public option health care reform. Man, you'd two are really going at it with all this typing, so carry-on gentlemen.
Personal opinion: The way Obama is headed right now, I'm afraid he is going to be a one term president. Come-on people,...especially all of you non-Americans: The American people do not want or like their government to tell them which doctor to go see, or which medical plan to use, period!
Oh, and to make matters worst, there is this fucked-up provision being pushed in the U.S. Congress by Obama's people basically saying that all Americans will be forced to have some type of medical coverage, regardless if they can't afford it or not. And any that don't get it, will get hit with a fine of over $1,000! Oh boy....

Yea, House of the Dead really fun, and still is. But remember, even though you could have played it with the normal game pad, it just simply was not the same, the light guns were needed to make the game playable.
The only bad thing about the House of the Dead game, was the movie they made based on it, it was real bad.

I know I am going to get some no's from some of you here, but I don't care, as far as I am concerned, Resident Evil is the premier zombie game, period.
Now, in second place (to me) I will have to go with the "House of the Dead" game series. I have this game for my Dreamcast console, including the two light guns, vibrating packs and all! Man, it sure brings back fun zombie-killing memories!

I don't know if this means anything to anybody, but I have heard that Paranormal Activity movie is being compared to the Blair Witch Project movie by some in the news media. Now, I might go see The Fourth Kind, it is about aliens after all, but I don't think I will be watching Paranormal Activity, it is just too demonic in nature. The last thing I need, is an unwanted "presence" following me home.

I know EA was once considered the world's largest and richest game publisher in the world. I don't know if they still are, but either way it is surprising that a company that big and powerful will let an error like that happen to them. There was a time when most of the top 10 games at any given moment were all from EA. How the mighty have fallen........

Fair game is fair game. Is it ethical? Maybe not. Is it legal? Most likely it is. This case is no different then when Best Buy's web store once posted their Samsung 52 inch LCD TV's for a rock bottom price of $9.99!!! The Best Buy site instantly got thousands of paid orders for those big screen TV's.
Of course, Best Buy refused to deliver the TV's and instead refunded the money back to most of the customers who ordered them. Now, I say most of the customers, because Best Buy was forced by State Law to deliver the TV's to the first 5 customers who ordered them at $9.99. Now that's what I call a deal!

You know, there's a plugin for Google's Sketchup called "CryEngine2 exporter". What this basically does, it enables Sketchup to export any Sketchup made 3D scene as a Crysis map, ready to use in a game! Now, even though I use Sketchup myself, I have never tried this plugin for it, so you would need to refer to the following site for more info:

It might not be new in terms of "mens magazines" overall, but what makes this case special, is that this is the very first time that a fictional cartoon woman graces the cover of Playboy, and that apparently is a big deal. As much as I like Maxim, it is just simply no Playboy. Playboy is more than just a magazine, it's an institution, it' the center of a media and product empire that spans magazines, books, calendars, movies, colognes, watches,....well, you get the idea, that bunny rabbit logo is everywhere. There's even a Playboy cable TV channel! But you are right in one thing Penguinboy, it is strange.
