By textlights you mean modified textures that emit light, right? If so, no, why do you ask?

Thanks for the review based off the pics, some things are hard to tell. The last 3 pictures was my idea for a Cyclone machine, it pushes physics and the player around in a circle, and you have to navigate the ramps using sprint to launch yourself onto the top structure.

I just always loved launching the player around in Half-life, but its difficult when working with the unmodified game code. When I placed this map into my mods maps folder it played so much better. ;]

And yes, it is extremely lacking in detail. Just not enough time for me. =D

Damn, this is a very well designed set of SP maps. The attention to detail that will be directly in the POV of the player as he goes through the level is good at keeping them interested in where they are headed. The AI battles also worked smoothly, due to good node placement and I am guessing use of Assault entities? Every room is perfectly lit due to great light placement and entity setups (also loved the spinning security lights). Textures are used pretty spot on as I noticed few jump out problems.

I also love the grinder you made in the first map. Looks great! Is that running off of Phys_motors or func_rotating?

Great entry Moaby, full of gameplay and good texturing!

Hot damn! This is truly some exquisite brushwork you have got here Cpt. Terror, I am truly blown away by how much life GoldSrc has when handled correctly. =] I agree with Moaby that the texture's could have been aligned better, but It is definitely not detrimental enough to take away from what an awesome entry this is! I personally love the lighting, and as for this complex brushwork... Really awesome when you can just walk backwards into a corner and take it all in! =D

I just wanted to add that I also felt that Blue Shift was the weakest next to Opposing Force and the original Half-life, but it does have that supremely sweet scripted scene when you are on the Elevator in the beginning and all hell starts to break lose. I love scripted sequences that you get to view from the players view and still be able to move around a small constricted area. Love that stuff!

My only complaint is that it needs more sound going on. There are a lot of times where its just quiet, maybe have some subtle sound scapes or something, but other than that, I thought the mapping was pretty damn good.

Yes! Finally I found this again. I just reinstalled my computer, and I remembered this lil' example map and how it was one of my favorites! Glad I found it again! :-D! This is one of my favorite creations that you made Habboi :-P!
