HA!.....Welcome to my world, Saribous. I paint my big ass house at least once a year. I go through about 4, five gallon (20 gallons) pails of paint. Since I live in a tropical country, the weather here does a number on the outside of my house, so a regular up-keep is important.
As for your back pains, it sounds that you might be doing a lot of bending downs while perhaps passing the paint roller, is that it? If it is, I suggest that if you can, you screw on a longer stick (normally a wooden broom handle) on to the paint roller's handle. At least this way you wont be needing to do so many bending downs, thus putting less stress on your lower back.

Yes, LOL indeed. My bet is that they are going to make the new Spiderman series of movies "darker", pretty much in the same way they did with the last two Batman movies. You know how it is......"copy-catting" is big in Hollywood. You just wait and see in a few months from now, on how a few Avatar want-to-be's are going to spring up out of nowhere to try to capitalize on James Cameron's Avatar's record breaking success.

I'm thinking about upgrading my broadband service sometime this year. it's currently at 512k, which gives me an actual average download speed of about 52k whenever I download something. For now, When I do upgrade, I will start with a 5mb speed service which will cost me about $50 a month. Of course, the one I really want is the max service of 25mb broadband speed, but my ISP wants $229.95 a month,....OUCH!

Damn, you really are sensitive to poison oak, srry. When I was younger and living in Pennsylvania, sometimes for fun I roamed the heavily wooded areas near my house with my brother, and got exposed to poison oak a few times, hands and face! But the worst I ever got from that, was just a skin rash that went away the next day. Now, the one thing that really kicked my ass, was poison ivy, that shit can cause first and second degrees burns on some people!

That's because IE has it's own internet, so to speak. A lot of websites out there still have problems with non-IE browsers, all because those same sites were done with only IE in mind. But the good news is, that's changing. Each day that goes by, more and more websites that are exclusive to IE only are no longer the case, they are being re-worked to be more compatible with the other browsers. But don't kid yourself though.....there will always be some IE only sites around, not to mention IE still holds a commanding lead in the market share, for now. Why do you think somebody came out with that "IE Tab" add-on for Firefox?

Well, there's HTML 5 now which is already supported by the latest versions of the major web browsers, for those of you that want to experiment with something newer than XHTML. Also, the web consortium HTML 5's current specification for declarative 3D content (X3D format), is already being worked on by Mozzilla, Google and Apple for inclusion on their next major version releases of their respective browsers.

Really?.....that would be something. But even if that turns out to be the case, a deal that big and important would need to be first scrutinized and eventually approved by the U.S. Department of Commerce anti-trust division, which is a very powerful overseeing body that regulates big businesses in the U.S. And if the Government says no, then there's no deal.

I guess what's happening to me, is that since I am a part time freelance ecommerce web developer, I find myself often writing promotion and sales content for the websites that I do for my paying clients. Some of my clients tell me exactly what they want on their websites to say, while the others expect me to come up with the "sales pitch content" for them, since they are too dumb to do it themselves. Of course, If I have to come up with the sales pitch content myself, I will charge them extra for it. So in retrospect, I guess I will need to make sure to not make my future posts sound to accidentally "promotional". Thanks for bringing this up, I guess I needed a wake up call, ATDestroy.

Well, I think the one Adobe product that's the most over-bloated with obscure tools that most people will not likely use, is Photoshop. I still use Photoshop 7, it's all I need. And now with the so called "CS4 Extended" version with it's "tools for editing 3D models and motion-based content", it apparently seems it wont be long before some future version of Photoshop goes head on with 3D Max or Maya.

Hey, any body here remember from years back at Adobe's attempt at a virtual worlds modeling platform to compete against VRML? It was called "Adobe Atmosphere". It consisted of 3 parts, which were the 3D world editor, the browser viewer plugin and the open source multi-user server. It lasted for about 2 or 3 years before Adobe gave up on it. Yep, the same radar dish, though technically speaking it's really a radio telescope. Radars by definition are designed to detect objects that are far away. Radio telescopes on the other hand, are for detecting far away radio signals, like the ones in deep space. I live a little less than 5 miles from it. While that giant dish is nestled among Arecibo's southern mountains, I'm located near the northern coast.

The PS3 controller is indeed recharble. But here's the catch: It's only good for a limited amount of recharges. After that, it's useless and needs to be replaced with a new one. This of course defeats the purpose of the PS3 controller ever being traded or sold as a used item in a second-hand store. Also, certain rechargeable batteries are notorious for breaking down before their time. Laptop batteries anyone?
And last but not least, there's this little quote from Sony themselves that pretty much fails any counter arguments from anybody saying this story is not true - Quote: "there's an environmental benefit since gamers don't have to toss their batteries on a regular basis". Mmm, sounds to me like a confession from Sony.

I agree also, DC has had a better track record, but that's not to say they also have had some bombs too. Now, I just saw on DVD the following DC animated features: Green Lantern-First Flight, Wonder Woman and Superman Batman-Public Enemies. I recomend any one of these DVD's, they are great as far as animated superhero shows goes. A few weeks ago I also saw the Hulk vs Wolverine and Hulk vs Thor DVD, and I must say I liked them very much, but I enjoyed the DC DVD's even more.

I just read Demonoid's "Maintenance" edit posting on thier front page, and by the looks of it, they seem to be having serious issues. I mean, all that talk about "lost data" does not sound too good to me. But anyway, they seem to have a comeback plan, so I hope they are back also very soon.

True, but to a point. The torrent model is still an evolving one, and the one public bittorent tracker that is still consistently modernizing their platform is in fact Isohunt.com. They even have a blog dedicated to this ongoing upgrade in their system. Also, don't forget about the browser clients, like for an example, "uTorrent", which is constantly being updated too.
