I opened the door with the laser and the laser was turned on, but for some reason the door closed again, then I waited for a few seconds and then the trap in the door to the left exploded and then I was free to pass.

5 minutes. I found a bug, in room,, 3 I think? When you jump around on letters. I fell once (matter of fact I fell many times) and then I landed on a non-stright-face (I've forgotten the english word, but, you know what I mean. Non straight as in surf map tracks) and therefore I survived the fall and got directly into room 4. However, you've blocked the enterense with something inviseble right?
I like, but shame it was a bit short. 3.5, in this case, 4

That's quite smart. New mappers with new maps could allow uploads so that better mappers could show them how to do stuff and how to improve stuff. w00t

Elon is right.
Only thing I can say is,, take more time making your stuff to fix things like textures and such. Play around with hammer and maybe read a few tutorials. Most things I know about mapping I've learned my self, without tutorials, because I find it alot easier to discover things on my own, but that's just me. Find your way of learning, and learn.

I'm sorry to say that the finnished version (without lights and cubemaps so far) will be delayed do loads of,, very strange bugs. I might be stuck, I don't know, but if anything happens wich I can't fix I'll post it in the forum.

The sounds where supposed to be normal HL2 sounds,
Gunter: Could you tell me where I can find these holes so I can patch them up? I found two today. 1. where the ladder is. 2. building on the right to the bridge, you could see behind it.

Thanks for the review, I promise you, you won't regret the 4. I'll just fix the light, and, well, I really suck at using cubemaps. I'll also add some detail.
I'm glad you noticed the four advanced setups I've been working with. I worked my ass off. The gun wasn't very hard, I can recommend a tutorial at akilling.org. By the way, could you hear the talking scenes? Like when barney said "U oh, here they come" in the beginning? Else there's something wrong with the extraction thingy. It has a scene file included wich adds the file "Scenes/madcow" wich has 3 scenes in it.
Anyways, I'll finnish it when I don't got any homework to do.

I got problem with an other type of spawning. "Clone spawning" You hide an NPC somewhere in the map, and then, you set out a points that copies that certain NPC and spawns the copies. Great if you need them to do stuff after spawn. But I can't figgure out how. :S
And .map files is used in HL2 too, right?
So all you need to do is to export the .map file and ofcourse, edit the textures.

The only case a rope would move, is if you tie a physbox or similar to it.

All you have to do is to give the npcs in game the same names as the actors has in the face poser scene.
Face poser itself is very easy to learn for those who wants to make custom scenes.
So, all you have to do in hammer is to, give the right names, and, trigger the logic_coreographedscene
