It took me many many takes, with different settings, like full frames uncompressed avi, indeo video codec, WMP codec and all that stuff. And everytime the file size was over 4 gigs for just 2.30 minutes of recording! Its a pain in the butt to compress a file that big! So it took me many takes to get an acceptable filesize.
I used Camtasia Studio 3 for recording, and XVid for compression, id rather choose Divx, but that didn't work.

Hmm. Now i think of it, zeditor.wad usualy came with an older version of ZHLT. This wad only contains some texture like NULL, CLIP, SKIP, HINT and such. It does not contain any real texture. If you have zhlt.wad, and rename it to zeditor.wad you probably can run the map.

I was playing this map with Hunter yesterday, and we noticed a strange bugglitch in your map. At first i thought that was a result og fast vis compiling.
There are some spots in your map with somekind of strange invisible wall. Its not really a wall, but more like an invisible obstacle. You can still walk through it, but it feel like having somekind of lag. Can't really explain it.

I agree with FresheD. The poison is actually a pain in the butt during gameplay, the damage that it causes is just way too high. And even if you can escape from a poison cloud, you'll die, because it "keeps on burning" after you've touched it.

If this is a beta, and almost complete, then this map doesn't belong in the Completed Maps Vault.
Moved.
Just played it. Those trees are kinda... uhm, boring. But then again, trees are one of the hardest things to make in the HL engine. It also feels kinda flat. Try making some cliffs with the vertex manipulation tool. You need to master Vertex Manipulation to do it properly. Read the tutorials to get you started.

Who deleted my reply?
Anyway, I played it yesterday, and i enjoyed it. Those Robot Soldiers are kinda cool. But some area's feel somewhat crowded. Geuss what happend when 16 people are ingame!

I was overreacting a bit i geuss. Sorry. But a decent map discription for the completed maps is a must have.
Not providing a decent discription leads to a warning, and eventually lead to deletion of the map when it happend again.
(Removed non-English replies)
You better finish this.
Otherwise, nice!
Also, add a screenshot for your other map.
Next: A Prism Tower.
51 views, and 0 downloads, doesn't surprise me...
Hmmm, no its not like Monkey Island or Roger Wilco. Its just a plain 2D run, jump and shoot game. Very freakin addictive.
Argh! DOWNLOAD!

Hunter?
/me adds map to server.
And yes, thats a sink. Pretty badly made, cuz its too curvy. Lol.
Don't get me wrong, the map itself HAWT!
I see some serious improvement there, compared to those those screens you send me through msn.
Now, make an HLDM version of this map, and ill upload it to my server.
Whan are you getting HL?

This needs a serious playtest on my server!

Very neat!
Bet that took some time to fine tune.
