I suggest you better read some tutorials, instead of blindly trying to guess what's right in a certain situation. Because that kind of approach will get you nowhere. Also, eventually you will just get even more frustrated and angry at yourself.

Out of all suggestions for a new name, I liked the "Map Vault" one the most.
Change is inevitable, we must adapt to survive. If that means changing the name, or supporting more engines, I'm fine with that.
If the need for a programmer arises, I would love to help!

in My Rig :( Post #288035
Built my rig 2 years ago for $900-950, and it still plays everything at high settings. Well I did upgrade my video card, only because I had to return it a few times, and then got fed up with it, so they replaced it with a better one with an additional pay.
And so I agree that $1000~ is a reasonable price for a new PC.

Simply VMing gives inconsistent width. You don't get a lot of wiggle room because some parts might be 1 unit wide, and other parts might be too fat or way too thin of you move the vertices around too much.
There's a nice trick to keeping a fairly consistent width around corners or large curves.
Would be interesting to see that trick of yours. The last time I did something like that, I used to move the verticles according to the angle the wires are touching, so visually it would look like it still is as wide/fat as they should be.

Just vm the wires, at least that's how I would make them.
