WAIT A SECOND!
Zombie, you know about creating rotating lights, but you don't know how to texture a brush!?!?!

Did I misunderstand your question??

Use Hammer's Texture Application tool. Read about it in Hammer's reclusive help File: Help>Help Topics>User's Guide>Texturing Solids.

Also, I would highly recommend the 'In the Beginning' tutorials on this site.

Denny's has pretty decent milkshakes :P
The program is called MilkShape by chUmbaLum sOft, and it's available here:
http://www.swissquake.ch/chumbalum-soft/

As for a decompiler, I assume you me for .bsp files. I've never used it, but you could try WinBSPC, available here, among other places: http://www.slackiller.com/hlprograms.htm

Yeah here's another stupid question asked by me!
When i compile hl-maps(HL not cs) using ZHLT i get the error: "windows kan inte hitta filen"(Windows can not find the file) and then "map change failed: mapname not found on server."
I've checked config, it says C:Spelsierrahalf-lifevalvemaps like it should!

Elite Force 2 was awful, nowhere near as good as the original. Theres only 3 recognisable characters, compared to the entire crew of Voyager. The music sounded like a midi file they downloaded off the net, and then reversed and changed all the instruments to that stupid guitar noise. The gameplay is bland and monotonous, theres no real excitement as everything is predictable.

Overall they took the game and made it something you'd expect to play in an arcade. It got slightly better towards the end, but it still felt rushed. The final boss showing how totally distanced from reality the game is.

Just don?t map like if you?ve gone mad!!!... One thing one must do is to exercise his/her imagination. Before running Hammer/Worldcraft just sit down and think "What would I like to play?", "What would be interesting?", think about a single concept, a brief storyline, think first about what you would like to do. Then don?t map!!!!. Lay some pen and paper and work a little about it, about the physical structure of the map, some words for texture ambiences and lights, explain if something has to happen in a determinate point... When all these things are done you will know what you want to map. See if you can do it and then... Run Hammer.
