I tried doing that, but it didn't work for some reason.

I've never experienced hallucinations or anything, but a lot of the time I seem to wake up oddly, being able to listen to what people are saying in the room several minutes before even being able to move. I don't think it counts though, I've never had any hallucinations.

And lucid dreaming can be awesome, but most of the time realising I'm dreaming just makes me wake up.

Is it a Firefox add-on? What's it called?
It is for Firefox, but I don't actually know the name. I think it's part of the google toolbar, maybe it's just a setting for that that I somehow turned on?

Luckily I've got an add-on that automatically translates pages when I view them. However, that didn't help, as when I tried to join to vote, the site kept rejecting everything I typed into the fields. After several tries I gave up.

I finally saw Wall-E on the weekend, and it was rather good. Although the message of the film seemed to be very serious for a children's film. Although the film probably wasn't meant for just children.

I also saw Sleepers on the weekend. It was also good, although definitely not a film for children.

I doubt anything significantly bad will happen. In fact, I think I'd be willing to bet someone 100 euro that the world doesn't end. If it doesn't end, I get 100 euro. If it does end, I don't have to pay because the world ended. It's win-win! :D

in Swine Flu threat and conspirations Post #275156
I'm no doctor, but my father is, and I was talking to him about the vaccine a few days ago. He said the reason that a lot of doctors are refusing to administer the vaccine is because the A(H1N1) virus was completely unexpected, and the vaccine was prepared as an emergency response. Consequently, there hasn't been time to test it fully, so there is a chance that some people may exhibit allergic reactions to it. If this happens, the doctor who administers the vaccine may be held accountable and can be sued.

This is because of the unexpected nature of the virus, and not because of a 'population reduction plan', so I wouldn't worry about that. I don't think the govornment is that crazy.

I hate beer as well. I got mine because I owed my friend a can. And then on Tuesday night I was drunk eenough to not notice the taste.
I also realised yesterday that it's about half the price of Coke. A 500ml bottle of Coke costs 1.40euro, but four 500ml cans of beer cost around 2.50euro.

I was going to get a bottle of Captain Morgan's on Tuesday, but the bottle of JD's was just over half the price, so I got it and some cans of Carlsberg. I think I'll either get rum next time or some other whiskey.

[Edit] I might try that actually. Sounds nice.

Ah, here it is. As I was saying, I've mostly been having Jack Daniels and Coke, because straight, it tastes like crap. I have been told that it is much better with ice though, although I haven't been able to check. My place's freezer is too small to fit an ice tray in. Before I go to the bother of taking a cup of ice from the drinks machine in Subway, can you tell me if this is true?

I have a bathroom connected to my bedroom, but a colony of bats used to live in a cavity above the ceiling of the bathroom. Because of the weight of their droppings, the ceiling sags and has split where it meets the wall. Now a bees nest is inside the wall, and a very loud buzzing can be heard. I wouldn't mind normally, if it weren't for the fact that the ceiling is split. No bees have come through yet, but I'm not taking any chances.

Sunshine
The sun is dying. Seven years ago the Icarus went on a mission to restart the sun with a gigantic atom bomb. They went missing and the mission was never competed. Now the Icarus II has been sent to complete the mission.

The trailers and the DVD box make it look like a cliched action movie, but it's actually a serious sci-fi movie. Although the ending is a tad fucked up.
