The only thing i really dont like about this map is it is the walls are a little too short and makes the level feel alot more small and cramped

The Big trees with leaves are models.

I personally just change the pitch to something around 60, and then set the directional compass at a random angle. Can't go wrong with that, since it produces short shadows from everything.

Ghetto:

Easy way to control direction of sunlight:
1. Make an info_target entity and name it "skytarget".
2. Make a light_spot entity and check "is sky" in the properties. Then change it's target to "skytarget".
3. Draw an imagionary line, starting from the light to the target with your head. That is the direction the sun's rays will travel.
4. Now simply move the info_target around to change the angle of the sun quickly and easily.

That's one very very bad suggestion Ghetto... this fixes your leak, but it'll also cause alot more problems.

PTS...

well to find a leek, when u compile your map, it shows u all the log. go trough it and if u get a Leek in hull error that means u have a leak!

well the cause of it might be an entity out of the map or a place where u can fall trough the map!

if u cant find it, put a box / skybox around ur map

Is this ur first map? :) its good for a first map :P

1. The 'initaly dark' flag was on for the blue light! dont do that
2. u had a black light next to the blue light! i dont think that could be good too. if u want the light to fade away, then you should make it a light_spot!
3. func_buy zone isnt neceserry to put in ur maps, the buy zone will jsut apear in the t and ct spawn points!
4. If u have a LEAK error, the lights and shadows wont be seen!

Definately the best map of yours I've seen so far.

I would suggest changing the angle of the environmental lighting and also making it darker. Add some other lights the the map to compensate for the difference, preferably in the form of texlights. Try and put them in places where they might cast interesting shadows. Don't forget to include a reasonable excuse for the light being there, too.

Also, some outdoor sounds to immerse the player more would not hurt.

Keep at it. You're getting better.
