This isnt suppose to be resident evil ported to HL2, it's suppose to be a horror map similar to the resident evil series. But I guess no one understands that.

+ Some interesting architecture
+ Nice spotlights, though the halos are a bit big
+ Claustrophobic feel

- No plot
- No sense of place. Needs a specific setting with appropriate architecture and detailing.
- Bare rooms, some with strange furnishings e.g. sofas in a concrete bunker.
- Monsters seem to be in need of some nodes.
- Ending wasn't good because the gman didn't say anything- but that's easy to do.

BUT although there are more negatives than positives you have obviously grasped the basics well and with a bit of plot and some more detail I am sure you will create fine maps!

I also included the shapes you need in order to carve and make the doors, elevators, and windows 3D. So you don't have to do it for yourself. Sometimes I'm too nice D:

Eos2 needs to be reuploaded because I made some fixes (INCLUDING A CUBEMAP OR 20 :'(). Anyways, it should be here by like later tonight, I'm at a friends house right now and he doesn't have HL2, nor does he have the VMF that needs to be compiled. ;P

I also added a 'for-looks' courtyard in the middle for all y'all who noticed the HUGE error I made. So yeah expect this later. I'll be EDITING THIS ONE and re-uploading, so it's not going to appear as a new map :P

Wow dude, much better, the beginning is great with that movie. The walls in the beginning are still tiled and if you could do something about that, it would look much better. I like how you give info through the newspaper, thats really cool. Monster placement is much better. There are times however that the monsters can't reach you. Pipes are in the way or something. I like the new fast zombie, that one is kinda hard with only a pistol, but you should keep it.

If you have a WAD loaded into hammer, then you need that wad for any maps you compile while it's there - regardless if you used any textures from it or not.

I rated the map 3 by accident because I'm drunk.
