very wierd yet amusing map. you can expect something like this from striker ;). This map is probably a recreation of whats going on in his brain! lol jk. I like it, its a bit too blocky on the brush work tho. For this small map 4.5 stars!

Yeah I heard about that, its quite pointless. If an actor dies or quits you don't have to scrap what they've done so far; just get another actor and continue on with spider man 4.

I think everyone has flying - or atleast falling dreams. I've had those too. Sometimes you have a hard time in your sleep rapidly falling from the sky; only to find yourself waked up somehow lying on the floor.

" Opened the door to my room and this thick pink / purple slime was oozing out of my ceiling onto the floor and down the walls. I distinctly remember saying out loud "Oh great, the ceiling's doing that thing again." I woke myself up by talking and then I was just sat up in bed, wondering what the bloody hell my mind was playing at..." - Maybe you were a ghost buster?

I once had this very random dream; I was in this wierd metal building with other people and all of a sudden a bunch of scary aliens attack me and kill my friends; I pressed the esc button and woke up. I lol'd and went back to sleep. lol.

uh depending on what your making. why would we be able to replay the original hl with new weapons and models, or have the same chapters but with different names? thats pretty pointless, why don't you just make you'r own mod.

All right, well i guess it was just an excuse to pick a fight, since were all going to leave school this year. Well my year group is atleast.

basically this is how it happened,
It was lunch time so about everyone was outside. A bunch of African boys were playing football whilst a bunch of Afghanistan guys were playing basketball in the same area. The basketball landed next to the people playing football, so some kid tried to kick the ball back, but it went over the fence so he kinda failed. The Afghanistan guys got angry and tried to pick a fight, and they got one. Eventually everyone playing sports in that particular area was fighting, it was mainly like 20 Africans vs 20 Afghanistans, but also other people who just wanted to fight for fun. There were people with knifes, people picking up objects and smacking eachother over the heads, breaking stuff, alot of blood etc. it went on for about 30 minutes. The little children were pissing their pants and the teachers were too scared to stop it.
Eventually, police came in trucks and ended it.

Thats about all the detail iv'e got.
Also, Tito you'r right, all this cause of a ball.

I loved it. there were some bugs tho:

1. the elevator level, when the game loaded it i got s tuck in the elevator and died. had to reload.

2. the duct with the invisible lader, the lader is a bit too hard to get to. took me ages to get in that duct.

3. the room with fire and smoke in it UBER lagged me out, had like 0.1 fps.

4. the room with the wierd snark thing also had lags.

besides these bugs, 5/5 stars so far.

heh thanks. yeah i admit that the hallways werent properly placed. i wanted to make the map bigger but my r_speeds fucked up so i just turned them into safe spots for players and weapons.

with the fire sprite, i couldnt find the other one i fail :(

about the brightness, i think it atcually came out well, for if i make the blue light brighter, it will flood in with the fire and it will not have the same affect as before, it will become worse.

the map is alright. I kinda like it. The fact that you spawn with no weapons makes spawn killing much easier tho, which is a minus. The insides of the mountain looked quite dull to me. 4.2 stars

Striker, i watched that video. I think the grassy mountain bit at the begining of that video needs to have some retexturing... i think grass texture is pretty innapropriate for some cliffs, rather use a cliffy texture for the bumpier and higher bits of that grassy mountain bit. that would work better. also add some trees there at the top of the cliff where u cant get. would just make it make much more sense.

well, i designed them that way as a quick escape and a place to store the best weapons in the map, since its easy to get in but takes a while to get out

well i didnt get totally rid of them, i lowered them and made them only do 35 not 10000 dmg. potatis and muzz / mighty atom, i added more stuff in that bit of the image. you should not see a big nice room not blackness.

however i do not agree with the crates. they are there as obstacles and objects to hide behind. its like that in most of the deathmatch maps. ill keep the crates the way they are.
