Much better. I still don't like the outdoor bit very much, bit too blocky and some displacements don't align but otherwise this is a very well polished and puzzling map. Well done!
It's fairly easy to get different maps into L4D. The really awesome thing about the director is that it doesn't require any ingame entities to decide where things spawn, how they move etc... The Director just needs a working map to use. Since the game is based off of the source engine (like all of Valve's games) you can take any other map (CS:S, HL2, TF2 etc) and put it in.
For example, I saw someone play on de_dust on L4D demo. All he did was put it in the L4D map directory and CS:S models into the required directorys and it worked. Just imagine the possibilities with this eh?
Although, you won't be able to end the game, neither get and guns/health kits/ammo etc as any map from another game you import won't have them. Likewise, and entities from those maps that belong to the specific game will not be able to work in L4D, so no combine vs. tank

You can pass HL2 is about 6 hours, and the episodes obviously in far less. Doesn't stop me playing them over and over again.
I'm about an hour and a half into Mirror's Edge, having fun so far. The only thing to complain about so far is the sense of direction, sometimes you just have no clue where to go, and little time to think about it.. might just be my bad luck, but it's always when I'm getting shot at. :<

after playing the demo on 360, xbox just seems a bit more easily playable. the left bumper and trigger control your upward and downward movements. the thumbsticks help get that ever so slight precision. ect.
breaks down and buys it See you all online at midnight tonight lol
It sounds like a lot of the tweak stuff (rendering commands) are locked out in the demo. I hope this is changed in the full version of the game- being able to tweak the graphic settings is important to those of us running older systems.
I almost want to do some Source mapping just for this game.

Loved the idea as well as diversity of objects used in the chain reaction. Very creative. Brushwork was top-notch, which is something you'd normally expect from a map by you. ;>
I wish this had the realistic and perfectly clean movement of Redka's entry, though. A combination of creativity and precision would have really kicked ass.
Nice work establishing a rather interesting setting as well.

Very nice. Everything beind 100% clean with no intercepting brushes and mostly correct physics made me think you were using animated models for a moment.
Apart from the ending being a wee bit dry, this is by far the best GoldSource Rube Goldberg machine I've seen yet.

Nice Airboat. I wish you luck in goofing off, comics, Machinima, or whatever you use GMOD for. EDIT: I hate winter. When I get up I only have half an hour, then I have to do a virus scan so hammer does'nt crash the computer... Wish I had a floppy with a warm-up batch on it.

And that release was pretty damn nice. ;o
EDIT:
Damn you, mystery hijacker!
ORLY?
Imagine the possibilities, this is huge!
only a matter of time before gmod fixes this

And yes, it's a blast. I only got 3 hours of sleep last night x_x
I need someone to play with. All my usual mates are at college today D: D: D:
EDIT
Just finished No Mercy. that whole section just before the rooftop, pushing zombies off the side of the hospital. awesome.
I'll check your out tomorrow.

The replay value better be good.

Great work!
Those domino-like falling blocks needed a bit tuning though. Turned out a bit short too.
I'd give it a 3.5, meaning 4 in the current system. Good job.
I put that triangular thing into the box, and all the doors closed on me.
I did not appreciate being stung when I jumped into the water in the pool either. Perhaps there should be at least some warning?
