Doesn't have any fancy frills like ut2k4, just good old simple dm.

Pretty sad.

I really don't know where I stand on the matter about killing him...

I mean on the one hand I feel that if you murder someone intentionally, and there is a high chance of you becoming a serial killer or doing more such deeds, I'd say they should be killed, mercifully though.

On the other hand though someone with a mental disorder really doesn't know what they are doing, it may of seemed like a good idea at the time to him. And he was obviously out of his head really. So I hardly think that is fair to kill them.. Should just lock them away and try to uh.."fix" them.

But really...if this had happened to me, and he had killed someone close to me, I woulda beaten him, I woulda wanted some serious revenge. It's human nature.

So I don't know, it kinda depends from what perspective you are viewing this from.

Some of those screenies look atrocious, the ones with towns or cities in particular.

The landscape screenies look great though, with sweeping mountains. :]

It clearly states it can be any disaster.
But it has to be within the competition map, which you can download from the compo page.

Interesting compo...Though I think Kasperg has done entirely too much and kinda left us without that much to do.

Unlike the other base maps which where just the very standard room with like 3 textures.

Very much limited, but I shall still enter probably. :)

I posted this in the other thread, but I think it is a very interesting quote.

I found it in the graphic novel 'Watch Men'.

"Who will watch the watchmen?"

Meaning, that the people who watch over us, can they really be trusted to do what is right all the time? Who actually keeps watch on the people who watch us?

I like it anyway. :]

I love the way people always argue their side of the case first, and then after, say that argueing on the internet is pointless and makes you look foolish.

Not really directed at Tycell, he just reminded me of it ;D

in Bunny Hopping is not Dead! Post #173553
I think Bunny hopping is where you jump, then as soon as you land, you jump again, going a lot faster.

So my guess is they tried to put a limit on how often you can jump perhaps? Like wait a second before you can jump again after landing?

I have no idea really, just throwing some ideas around.

I have come to the conclusion that all people from other countreis over generalize!
Haha, indeed, you lousy rednecks. ;D ;)

Alex: I am guessing it is because there are less opportunities in their countries so they all have to compete 100% against each other to get a fairly good living, whereas over here, we have the plague people call 'Celebrities' who make it where they are by good looks and luck.

So people say 'Fuck it, I can be like him/her just by kicking a football around every Saturday for half an hour, fuck school.'
